[His arrival had been rough and disorienting, but now that he's had a few days to recover, Zuko decides to introduce himself to the community at large.

The feed starts with a confused looking teenager with a big scar on the side of his face. He's staring for a moment before he speaks.]

Is this thing even working?

[He fiddles with it some more before he decides that yes, it is working.]

Uh, hello. Zuko here. I'm new and uh... I guess you guys already know that.

[He fidgets a little. There's also a look about him like he's definitely uneasy about something.]

So... I guess I will be here for awhile.

[Duh. Why is he so bad at this?]

Because we're from the same world and so far everyone else from our world is from Avatar Aang or Avatar Korra's time. Not that there's a lot of people from our world here. Five now, with you.

[lordhotman]

[He perks up at that. There are others here?]

Who else?

[raavashing]

You, me, Korra, Aang, and Iroh. The four of you are all from roughly the same time. I'm still the odd one out on that.

[lordhotman]

My Uncle is here?!

[No he hadn't missed Aang but for some reason that's less shocking than his own family member being here.]

[raavashing]

Iroh's your uncle? That's great! He'll be so happy to see you!

[lordhotman]

... Yeah.

[He has no doubt about that. Excuse him will he takes a moment to process this.]

So... what time are you from?

[raavashing]

A little less than ten thousand years before Avatar Aang's time. Before there were nations.

[He wasn't sure how much he should say about that, though. And about him being the first Avatar. So he was going to skip over the 'first' part and just go to the 'Avatar' part. That was easier. And Iroh already knew, too. So Zuko would probably find out about that.]

I'm Avatar Wan.

[lordhotman]

...

[Watch as Zuko's mind breaks.]

There are three Avatars here?! That's impossible!

[raavashing]

Not really.

[Because clearly it was possible, since it was happening.]

[lordhotman]

That's like being in the same place as yourself!

[Because that totally just made sense.]

[raavashing]

...yeah. But Avatars can already speak to their past lives in your time. So it's not that different, right?

[It's easier to not think about it. Less headaches.]

[lordhotman]

[But Zuko is so good at giving himself headaches! ... Wan does have a point though.]

I... guess?

[Except Aang's past lives are spirits, not actually... physical. But yeah, he's just going to try to not over think this. It's the least of his worries right now.]

[raavashing]

Well, now instead of just the Avatar being able to talk to their past lives, other people can, too.

[Silver lining!]

Since you're from the Fire Nation, does that mean you're a firebender?

[lordhotman]

[Zuko sighs. He supposes he will take a bite out of this silver sandwich.]

Yeah. I'm Aang's firebending teacher.

[Since that's probably relevant to one of Aang's previous lives.]

[raavashing]

That's great! Then I bet he'll be happy to see you!

[Yeah. No. He won't. He really, really won't.]

Could I watch the two of you? I've never learned from a human before. After ten thousand years, you've probably developed a lot of techniques the dragon spirits don't know.

[lordhotman]

You learned from the dragons?

[Color him a little surprised, but that does make sense. If he's from the past there was doubtlessly a lot more of them, and they are the original firebenders.]

That's fine, but Aang hasn't taught you anything himself?

[raavashing]

[The smile faded and Wan looked away.]

He's not really in a good place to do that. Physically or emotionally. Right before he arrived he was struck by lightning by someone named Azula. It's some sort of firebending I've never heard of, but he was nearly mortally wounded. He's been here months and is still healing. I know there's more to it. I can tell there is. But both he and Korra haven't been ready to speak to me about it, so I haven't pushed it.

[lordhotman]

WHAT?

[Zuko's face pales, the implications of what Wan is telling him starting to slowly creep into his mind. His voice sounds urgent as he continues.]

Are you sure that's the last thing he remembers? Where is he?

[raavashing]

That's what he told me, yes.

[Now Wan feels really bad about dropping the bad news on Zuko that his student was injured like that.]

I'm sorry. He's probably at the hospital. And if he's not there, he's at his house or the Great Turtle's head.

[lordhotman]

[Zuko looks positively mortified, and not for the reason Wan is thinking either. If only he knew the half of it.

After a moment he seems to recover and sets his jaw resolutely.]

I have to find him. Now.

[raavashing]

[Wan held a hand up, as if urging Zuko to stay calm.]

Where are you? I'll come to you and then take you to him.

[lordhotman]

Uh...

[Give him a moment.]

In the fire sector... Huo-Gai... FI-4B?

[raavashing]

I'll be there soon.

[He started to reach forward to turn off the computer, but hesitated a moment.]

How do you feel about flying?

[lordhotman]

I'm fine with flying.

[raavashing]

Great! It will be easier to fly you back to whatever sector he's in.

[GUESS WHAT ZUKO! YOU GET TO GO CLOUD SURFING! HANG ON TIGHT!

Wan shut off the video to collect his new friend.]
