[Annabeth! Looking contemplative and a little distracted, like her mind is thinking a million things at once.]
Has anyone else tried... talking to the ghosts? They've been pretty reactionary to me so far, limited responses and the like, and I've been assuming that's the case across the board.
[There's the sound of a chair being moved, and she looks pointedly annoyed at something off screen for a moment, then comes back and purses her lips.] The one here's more annoying than anything else.
[A sigh and she blows air up at some of the hair in her face.] Also, the kedan keep talking about making landfall soon. I've been asked to pick up some things, but I was wondering what people might have heard about the land itself? I've gotten a little of the general layout already, and where to look for certain resources, though I'm sure there's more to it, and maybe they all know different pieces or things about it.

It's like we're on a need to know basis, but even further with the bare minimum of know.
Ugh, its so stupid. I wish they'd tell us more.
I hate even considering the idea, but it's almost like I'm slowly getting used to it. Doesn't mean I can't keep trying, though.
Yeah...or rather, I'm getting used to actually having to work to get info! At least it's more interesting than reading a textbook or something.
So what, information was just handed to you before? And reading is always interesting, but I'll give you some textbooks can be really dryly written.
No, that's the point! Before I just...relied on other people, you know? Like, to tell me things. But that never worked really well. People, yanno, they hid things from me. Now I know I have to actually go find what I need to know.
Not letting people discover things for themselves and spoon-feeding them everything never works out well, in the end. It's easy to keep information and create a force of propaganda when kept in the dark. [pause.] So I'm glad that's changed for you. But finding a good stride for personal learning can take time, I know.
Gaaaah...I know. Studying just always puts me to sleep! And I can't find my hairclip...
Then you need to find a way to study that works for you and doesn't do that. Hairclip?
I did! It's called hands-on learning. And yeah, Bon gave it to me. My hair always gets in my eyes when I read.
[She nods.] Sometimes practical experience can cement knowledge. But you could always get a haircut if it bothers you that much.
