[By now, Ven's used to worldhopping, and after his last experience with the Star Shard, it's hardly a surprise to have crash landed in a brand new world. The sheer size of his new surroundings took him off guard, but it's kinda exciting to wind up somewhere so huge, so bustling, and so different.

Fortunately, he's adaptable, and he's picked up the basics of the console after that little crash course. Still, when the feed clicks on, he leans in for a moment, making sure the machine's recording. A few seconds later, he steps back and greets viewers with a bright smile and a wave.]

Whew! Okay, I think I got it working now, so if anyone's watching, I'm Ventus! But you can call me Ven.

[He chuckles. That came off a bit sillier than he intended. Ah well.]

This technology's something else! I mean, I've seen some pretty cool things in Deep Space, but it was all stuff like laser guns, low gravity chambers, escape pods... Nothing that'd let you talk to other people like this.

[At least, not that he knows of. Then again, he was kinda busy at the time.

But now he's getting carried away, so he sheepishly rubs his neck.]

Er, anyway, I've got an idea of what's going on now, and I wanna do whatever I can to help! But first, I've just got a quick question... Has anyone heard of the Unversed?

[The moment Ven sees Aqua, his hands hit the keyboard, a huge grin spreads across his face, and he perks up instantaneously.]

Aqua! It's really you!

[And what's this? Terra's there too? And he didn't miss 'em this time? Oh man, this is awesome. By the time Terra does show up, Ven's trying his darndest not to take off and go look for them ASAP. That'd be silly, since he's not even sure where they are, but darn it, he wants to be there in the flesh!]

Hey, where are you guys? Forget these computers. We should meet up somewhere!

[Then he can totally express his excitement in the flesh. That's way better than chatting long distance.]

[She laughs. Goodness knows it's been too long since she heard Ven's cheerful attitude, and she agrees fully with his sentiment.]

We're at our house in the Sky Sector, but we can all meet up at the Midnight Hotel - any kedan can point you in the direction of it.

[A thought occurs to her - she stands up.]

I'll be right back - we'll see you in person soon, Ven!

[There's one other person in the house who should come along on this grand reunion, so she doesn't feel left out. Aqua has no desire at all to leave Xion out in the cold.]

[Terra nods at Aqua's suggestion; that seems ideal.]

Yeah, sounds good. Hang tight, Ven.

[As Aqua stands, Terra turns to the console again, more serious.]

And Ven -- you should've gotten some kind of jewelry when you arrived here. Hang onto it -- don't even take it off. We'll explain later.

[It's not like it could really hurt him before they get there, but. Can't be too careful with his little bro, okay. :| ]

[Too eager to wait, Ven's quick to bolt outta the Welcome Center and out toward the Midnight Hotel. While he waits, he whistles a cheery tune, stopping occasionally to look around. Terra and Aqua stick out like sore thumbs, but Xion... Well, he's not even sure what she looks like yet!

Once he spots them, though, he drops what he's doing and bolts across the street. Sure, he could wait for them to get close, but he's just too excited for that.

But Ven's not exactly a shining beacon of patience in the first place.]

[It had taken some cajoling to convince Xion to come along with the two of them to meet Ven: as Aqua had worried, the girl was reluctant to go. But if there's one thing Aqua doesn't want, it's to have her young apprentice and friend feel as though she's merely been a replacement for Ven and Terra, one who will now be forgotten with the latter two present.

When she sees that familiar mess of golden hair racing towards their little entourage, though, there's nothing that can stop her from racing to meet Ven. The last time she saw him, he was still, heart damaged and sleeping, and seeing him so full of life and energy - it's wonderful, just as seeing Terra as himself had been a week ago.

She grabs Ven and practically spins him around in a tight hug. She's missed him, both of them, so much.]

[Despite the same impulse to hurry forward, Terra lets Aqua pull ahead. After everything they talked about, he's glad to give her first dibs on confirming that it is Ven, that he's here, he's safe, he's awake. He's whole again. She was the last one to see him, the one to take care of him when Terra was too far gone, so she can be the first to go to him.

As reserved as Terra usually is, he has his exceptions, and his friends have always been one of them. He can't stop the smile -- nor does he want to -- or the relieved laugh when Aqua hugs Ven and it's confirmed that this is real, they're together again, they've beaten the odds through some favor of fate or something else.

Everything, right now, is okay.

Aqua gets Ven to herself for about three seconds -- and then Terra catches up at a run, stooping just enough to catch them both in a broad hug.

But instead of actually, you know, stopping when he gets to them, he keeps going -- and takes the two of them with him for a step, matching Aqua's spin before setting them on their feet again. ~~JUST THIS ONCE~~

Even after the hug ends, he keeps a hand on each of their shoulders, their personal spaces still comfortably overlapping.]

See? Together again.

["Relax, Ven. We're here and we're gonna take care of you."

"The three of us can never be torn apart, all right? I'll always find a way."

Maybe that was a little naive at the time, or at least shortsighted, but that general truth still stands. Now is proof.]

[And meanwhile, still trailing behind (a bit reluctantly) is Xion. Onsome level, she thinks she understands what Aqua is trying to do, and is grateful for that much. All the same though, it still feels hard to really feel included when she's left in the dust as the other two charge forward to all but tackle their friend.

Still, it is nice to see them all so happy, and she it's enough to make a tiny, wistful smile work its way across her face. She hangs back, not wanting to interrupt them, arms wrapped behind her, but still clearly within view. She's not going to bail, at least.]

[The hug is welcome. Expected, sure, but still manages to take him by surprise. Maybe it's the spinning, he's not completely sure, but you can bet he's reciprocating, laughing all the while. Being so close proves that it's all real. It's not just a dream. His friends are okay, they're actually happy to see him. It's a huge step up from their last meeting.

Once his feet touch the ground again, he gives both his friends a quick once-over. The best part is, they're not just happy to see him, but happy to see each other!]

Man, I really missed you guys.

[He'd say more, but it seems they've got company, and the last thing he wants is for her to feel left out. So, while he doesn't move, he does shift a little, shooting Xion another bright smile.]

Hey, aren't you gonna come over? I swear I won't bite.

[Was that cheesy? Yes, but it's Ventus. That kinda comes with the territory.]

[She laughs in surprise as Terra swoops in - little did she expect her own feet to leave the ground! - and simply beams at both of her friends.]

Together.

[Her family. Here, and safe. Ven is awake, Terra is himself, and though they will have to find out when Ven is from, that doesn't matter right now.]

I missed you too. [It's a bit more heartfelt than likely expected, but for her it has been a year and a half since she saw Ven last, sleeping peacefully with no indication of the damage done to his heart.

When Ven shifts to address Xion, Aqua does feel a little moment of guilt. In her excitement over the reunion, Xion slipped her mind for a brief second. But now she smiles at her young friend, breaking away with a laugh at Ven's quip to bring her over.

Xion, come on over! I'd like you to meet Ven.

[Ven really is so different from Roxas. He's... bright. The comment about biting has her smiling a little in spite of herself, and then Aqua is helping to bridge the gap, physically and emotionally. Aqua had known Roxas. She would know how hard this would be.

She hopes.]

Okay.

[Her head is very ducked, and she's constantly fighting the urge to drift and half-hide behind Aqua like a shy toddler. But she does head over, meeting Ven's face for half a second before looking away.]

Hey. I-It's nice to meet you.

[She hopes.]

[Aww, is she nervous? A frown briefly crosses Ven's face, and he rubs his neck. He doesn't quite get it, but he's not gonna push her. There must be a lot of pressure! Him, Terra... They might both be strangers for all he knows.

But when she does meet his gaze, he flashes her a small, but honest grin.]

You too!

[After another pause, he adds:]

It's okay if you're nervous. I know we don't know each other that well, but I'd still like to be friends if you're up for it! Would that make you feel better?

[That hesitation and uncertainty are obvious, of course, so while it's tempting to (literally) reach out and help welcome Xion over, Terra refrains and instead just makes room, giving her some space, by stepping behind Ven with his hands on his shoulders.

He does speak up at that remark, though, sounding amused -- but it's an earnest statement all the same.]

It's probably easier to just take him up on that, Xion. He'll try either way.

[Aqua does realize this must be difficult for Xion, as she must be thinking of Roxas and reminded of her friend's brief stay during the festival. So she stands next to the girl, smiling and resting a supportive hand on her shoulder.

And with Ven's familiar friendliness in full effect, she's hoping Xion will feel fully welcomed into their friend circle. She laughs a little at Terra's response - it is true, after all.]

You are very energetic, Ven. [It's both a confirmation of Terra's comment, and a slight apology to Xion. So excited was she about reuniting with Ven and introducing Xion that the possibility of the latter being overwhelmed by the former's energy had slipped her mind. Still, she hopes it won't be too much for Xion right now, and she trusts Ven to know if some restraint is needed.]
