[By now, Ven's used to worldhopping, and after his last experience with the Star Shard, it's hardly a surprise to have crash landed in a brand new world. The sheer size of his new surroundings took him off guard, but it's kinda exciting to wind up somewhere so huge, so bustling, and so different.

Fortunately, he's adaptable, and he's picked up the basics of the console after that little crash course. Still, when the feed clicks on, he leans in for a moment, making sure the machine's recording. A few seconds later, he steps back and greets viewers with a bright smile and a wave.]

Whew! Okay, I think I got it working now, so if anyone's watching, I'm Ventus! But you can call me Ven.

[He chuckles. That came off a bit sillier than he intended. Ah well.]

This technology's something else! I mean, I've seen some pretty cool things in Deep Space, but it was all stuff like laser guns, low gravity chambers, escape pods... Nothing that'd let you talk to other people like this.

[At least, not that he knows of. Then again, he was kinda busy at the time.

But now he's getting carried away, so he sheepishly rubs his neck.]

Er, anyway, I've got an idea of what's going on now, and I wanna do whatever I can to help! But first, I've just got a quick question... Has anyone heard of the Unversed?

Technically speaking, it's a place outside of all known universes, but that's just splitting hairs. Time should be stopped where you come from.

[Barring exceptions like people who come from different points in time in the same universe, but as far as Skulduggery's aware, everyone gets returned to the point they were taken from. Metaphysicists might be able to explain why, but he sure can't.]

Everyone is somebody important. Xion's one of the other Foreigners here. I think she might come from your world.

Hmm, so it's like a big Stopga spell... I guess I can live with that, especially since Terra and Aqua are here!

[And boy does that relieve him. If he's gonna be stuck in a new world, it's good to have familiar faces.

Though, in hindsight, he could've phrased things better.]

Of course everyone's important! I just thought she might've been somebody in charge. D'you know what she looks like?

[If she's from the same... universe, then he'll have all kinds of stuff to ask her.]

Ah, good. You know Aqua. [That means he can leave it alone. Skulduggery's still curious about the coincidence, of course, and fully intends to follow it up at a later date. But for now, there's no pressing need to get involved. Ventus's friends will be more able to figure out inconsistencies than he can.] Xion lives with her, so you should be meeting her in due course.

Wow, really? That's great!

[A new friend under the same roof? A friend of Aqua's, even? Man, what were the odds? It's just been him, Terra, Aqua, and their Master for so long, hey. A change of pace never hurt.]

So, uh. What's she like, anyway? Xion, I mean. Are you two friends?

[He hopes so! It'd stink if they were on bad terms.]

Acquaintances. I met her when Aqua asked for my help tracking down -

[ - the kedan who attacked Xion for her soul gem and shot her in the shoulder.]

- well, she should probably be the one to tell you about it.

Wait, did somebody go missing?

[That sounds important! And potentially bad. Very bad. And here he thought this place was safe.

But then, he might just be jumping to conclusions. He's a bit too used to dealing with problems now.]

I guess I'll ask her when I find her, but I hope it wasn't too serious...

Missing? No. Why would you think someone had gone missing?

[Aaaaand he's obfuscating in a deliberate attempt to get Ven to realise meeting Xion personally is the best way to find out more. It may or may not be successful.]

Well, you said she was tracking somebody down, and that usually means someone's lost... Or they're some kinda threat.

[He's onto you, Skulldiggery. He knows he's not getting the whole story, and while it's unseen, he's wearing a bit of a pout as he tries mentally filling in the blanks.]
