[By now, Ven's used to worldhopping, and after his last experience with the Star Shard, it's hardly a surprise to have crash landed in a brand new world. The sheer size of his new surroundings took him off guard, but it's kinda exciting to wind up somewhere so huge, so bustling, and so different.

Fortunately, he's adaptable, and he's picked up the basics of the console after that little crash course. Still, when the feed clicks on, he leans in for a moment, making sure the machine's recording. A few seconds later, he steps back and greets viewers with a bright smile and a wave.]

Whew! Okay, I think I got it working now, so if anyone's watching, I'm Ventus! But you can call me Ven.

[He chuckles. That came off a bit sillier than he intended. Ah well.]

This technology's something else! I mean, I've seen some pretty cool things in Deep Space, but it was all stuff like laser guns, low gravity chambers, escape pods... Nothing that'd let you talk to other people like this.

[At least, not that he knows of. Then again, he was kinda busy at the time.

But now he's getting carried away, so he sheepishly rubs his neck.]

Er, anyway, I've got an idea of what's going on now, and I wanna do whatever I can to help! But first, I've just got a quick question... Has anyone heard of the Unversed?

You are discussing a means of accessible inter-dimensional travel. Interesting. In the world I originate from, it has yet to be fully realized. Precisely because of the dangers which, I am certain, your amour readily addresses.

If it is not too much trouble, I would very much like to see your Keyblade and amour sometime.

[He tilts his head and folds his arms, brow furrowing.]

Hmmm... I dunno if I'd call 'em different dimensions. See, every star in the sky's actually a different world, and the light comes from their hearts! The Lanes Between are just the easiest way to get to 'em, since there's walls that usually keep the worlds isolated...

[He slumps a little, gaze dropping.]

At least, I think that's how it works. There's probably more to it, but I'd be happy to show you my Keyblade! Just name the time and place.

[Meaning he either was speaking of inter-dimension travels, or else interstellar. Neither answer was displeasing, and in fact, his offer to allow her to see the Keyblade brought about an even more pleased look to her facial features.]

Most any time during business hours would be convenient, as I would already be there, regardless.

Well, I could probably find it! Just gotta get a feel for the place.

[The Welcome Center's been useful, but it might take a while for him to memorize every important location. It's a lot bigger than Disney Town, maybe even bigger than Radiant Garden. Definitely bigger than Cinderella's house, and he was as small as a mouse back there!]

Something tells me I'll have better luck from the air, but my powers've been acting up since I got here...

[It doesn't make sense. Even his Keyblade's been more stubborn than usual!]

[Her construct eyebrows rose ever so slightly. Interest piqued; she had been set to end the conversation with directions and/or coordinates that would allow him to locate her place of work with relative ease, when he mentioned his powers.]

In what way have they been acting up?

Well, I can't open a path to the Lanes Between from here, and it was way harder to summon my Keyblade for some reason. Usually I just gotta think about it!

[He looks down at his hand, brow furrowing, but he is a newbie, and he's still in that groggy period. He just doesn't know it yet.]

[For a moment, Aya had contemplated feeling concerned. A sudden decrease in abilities...she had heard of such things occurring in the past. For some, it would have been a minor inconvenience at worst. But Aya's physical form was contingent upon her having full control over her Green Lantern Energy.]

Then you are current unable to leave. I would not be overly concerned. The force that summoned each one of us to this realm is also preventing us from leaving, regardless of travel ability.

[He folds his arms, head tipping down while his brow creases in thought.]

We're here for a reason, right? So if we're supposed to be here, I've got no problem sticking around! The Master'd probably want me to chip in, anyway.

[Well, no, he'd want Ven to go home, but Keybearers are supposed to uphold the balance and stuff!]

[It was an attitude similar to the one Aya had adopted once she'd been presented better, more relevant information. A desire to return home at the earliest convenience, but a willingness to remain in this world until she was no longer needed.]

Correct. Although, presently, I do not believe the newest enemy had made themselves known publicly, there have been several minor attacks on both Foreigners and locals alike proving that the battle is not yet over.

What?

[His brows fly up, his eyes become round as golfball, and his jaw drops in alarm.]

What kinda attacks? D'you know who's behind 'em?

[This sounds serious! Doesn't help that someone's supposedly gone missing, too. Maybe. It was kinda unclear.]

Muggings, primarily. Targeting individual Foreigners in an attempt to temporarily gain possession of their soul gems.

From what I understand, many have since suffered from a wide range of side effects from the encounter.

[Aya, herself, was not one of them, but she had witnessed enough encounters via Network to estimate a significant percentage was.]

But somebody stopped 'em, right? There must've been someone who caught on before things got outta hand!

[He hopes, because he's of the opinion that good always triumphs, and his empathy makes him even more hopeful that a simple solution was found. Or if it hasn't, that it at least exists.]

The frequency has decreased dramatically. yes, though I am not certain every individual involved has been brought to light.

[Based soley on her knowledge of what has transpired via Public Network, of course. It was her primary source of information.]

So they could just be laying low...

[Well, that's no good. What if they spring back up again? There's gotta be a way to know for sure...]

If you want, I can try to keep an eye out! If enough people look, I'm sure we'll track 'em down sooner or later.

Though I should also alert you to exercise caution on your part as well. It would be remiss if you were put in danger while keeping your eye out.

Hmm... D'you think I should wear my armor? I usually only wear it when I'm traveling, but if it's that dangerous, maybe I oughta play it safe.

Only if you believe you would be in great peril if you do not wear it. Otherwise, civilian attire should suffice.
