7th Kill ~ Console/Video
Does... Anyone feel... better, recently?
[Shay is sitting at one of the consoles in the cafés around the city, a mug of tea in front of him, spoon in hand as he gently stirrs it, staring pensively at the console.]
I mean... not in a sickness kind of way, just... all-round... better? Fitter, more... alive? I really don't know how to describe it...
[A pause, a sip of tea.]
Oh, and a wee side-note... Dreams. They're... important here, right?

Oh, and a wee side-note... Dreams. They're... important here, right?

video;
[ Jack's been better able to keep his internal temperature under control in the last little while, and it's made all the difference to keep the winter spirit from literally dropping dead in the street. ]
I thought it was just me.
What kind of dreams?
video;
[Being able to see further using his Eagle Vision was Not Normal.]
And, I... Well... I don't really know. It seemed... familiar. Like a memory? But nothing I can actually... remember.
Re: video;
Huh... what'd you see?
video;
[Give him a minute, Jack, because the Irishman is staring at the console with that squinty-eyed look of trying to search for something.
Looks like he can't see you... At least, until his eyes fix directly onto the Guardian a moment later.]
Well... I was stood on the docks in New York, just near the moorings for the Morrigan. It was... just around sunset, I remember everything being cast in orange... a spring breeze from the ocean... it was peaceful. Like many another spring evening.
[A frown, his gaze lowers to his tea again.]
I heard a couple arguing. An older lady, I couldn't guess her age, and a man. They were on one of the other berths, arguing, but I couldn't make out about what. She had a bag of coin and... must've been trying to either secure passage or purchase the man's fishing boat. A wee single-masted thing, could barely hold four people as well as trawling equipment.
[A sip of the tea.]
They were... arguing. Looks like they couldn't understand each other. The man refused the coin, but pointed to the lady's ring. Well, she didn't like that at all. She turned and left in a mighty mood.
[And then he lapses silent, as though trying to remember something else.]
Audio (Cutting in)
[Why did that bother her so much? Valdis had to think a few moments. Dreams here were important, this had to mean something...Ring...Jewelry...soul jewelry.]
That's...interesting. [And somewhat concerning]

Aye. She wouldn't part from it... but...

Re: video;
That's a... pretty specific dream to have.
video;
Something else, too. When the older lady turned away, her face changed under her hood.
Re: video;
Wait, like... shapeshifted?

[ and here is a comment with a description of the dream, because I'm lazy.]

I have been operating at super maximum capacity for several consecutive days now; while this is unusual in and of itself without the presence of a Blue Lantern in close proximity to my person, I am only slightly concerned that the excess energy will have negative effects on my circuitry in the long time.
Aside from that, it feels...pleasant.
video
[Shay is assuming it's similar to emotional burnout; something he's felt a few times...]
video
To expel the necessary energy that would regress me down to a mere 100% functional capacity...while simultaneously maintaining all safety protocols...I estimate it would be another two to three weeks until I stop glowing entirely.

[So it was more like now she could help others see in the dark.
video
[He has no idea what that means.]
If this... becomes an issue, is there anyone around who can help?
video
I have the contact information of several individuals knowledgeable in areas that would be of great assistance to me; Gene has already come to my aid when I fell ill with a unique virus capable of infiltrating my systems.
