[ Akito appears on the screen looking somewhat tired but very enthusiastic. A large messenger bag is secured over a feathered shoulder - apparently today is another 'I feel like wings instead of arms' day - and he gestures toward it with a feathered appendage. ]

I'll be dropping off a useful item to all of the Foreigners today! Any questions can be directed to me via my usual method of contact!

If I overlook anyone whatever is leftover will be given to the Welcome Center by early evening!

Everyone should have an updated portable communication device now! For everyone familiar with cell phones, it's more similar to an older model cellular than a radio - much more portable! The sound quality is improved, and text features are available! Supplies were too limited to add video or camera capabilities, but hopefully the next upgrade will be a closer rival to the consoles!

There is a charger and an instruction manual with each phone - a paper version in the original package, and a digital text file inside the phone itself. If anyone has any trouble just leave me a message!

Congratulations on your new device! It runs on a different channel than the previous handsets and is more secure, though it isn't immune to hacking attempts! We'll try to continue updating the OS encryption to keep unwanted eyes and ears out, but nothing is more secure than in-person communication.

That's what took the longest! Even with good connections, resources here are very limited. We have enough knowledge to make them even smaller and versatile, but not enough materials!

What materials are you lacking, if you don't mind my asking?

The proper elemental compounds to create longer lasting, smaller batteries. The proper sensor arrays to enable touch-screen, and the optical drives and virtual storage space to make camera and video. Then there isn't a strong enough wireless connection throughout the turtle for face-to-face video streaming even if we did have the parts for it... Higher quality wiring with more conductive metal cores are a necessity as well!

There's so much we weren't able to do yet! But we'll manage it one day! Definitely!

My goodness, I had no idea the list was so extensive. I wish I was tech savvy enough that I could offer something more tangible than well wishes. I will keep my eyes out for any raw components that might be useful, however.

Technology can only expand and improve within the limitations of their materials. When I first started learning about technology I was surprised at how many tiny pieces go together to make something!

Keeping an eye out for components is as much help as anyone can give! Even if you had the knowledge, it doesn't do any good if we can't implement it, ne?

I learned a lot about mechanics growing up, but not electronics! I've been getting lessons from Professor Jiji for a few months now, and it's improved my range of knowledge by a lot!

Anatomy, physics, mechanics, and language are what I'm good at from back home. Jiji has been helping me improve on that!

I have some rudimentary skill in Basic coding, but alas, I don't seem to have the knack.

I use my phone and computer for work and playing Prosfair with distant friends and acquaintances.

Though I bet your other skills have been quite useful here as well. If you were studying language, were you interested in traveling?

Traveling would be fun! I first learned different ones for necessity, but it turns out I was good at language so I started learning more.

Ah... a bit, I suppose? Zapp, Gilbert, and Leonardo were playing a video game together when the former two were injured. It had elements similar to Prosfair and seemed quite interesting. Though Prosfair itself has more in common with chess.

I do hope you one day get to exercise your language skills. Seeing new places is very worthwhile.

Er... sort of. Prosfair grows exponentially more complicated the longer it's played. Pieces will grow and gain abilities, the board can expand in various ways. One can wind up managing several different campaigns. Played too long, or without rest, it can cause an overload resulting in seizures or death.
