[ Bakura doesn't often initiate network posts, but he doesn't know if anyone else will think to make this particular announcement. He's indoors at an Earth Sector cafe, by the background behind him and the mug in front of him. Outside the windows over his shoulder, the fog is thick and dense. ]
One: Seto Kaiba has left Tu Vishan. I don't know what projects he was working on, but you'll need to reassign them.
Two: I take it everyone by now has noticed that this fog plays down more than just visibility. I don't suppose anyone cares to speculate why?

[She sounds incredibly unamused]
So yes, I noticed.

[ He could be talking about her human form, or about her restored memory. It could go either way, as conversations with him usually did have a few double entendres. ]
no subject
[Double meanings...the sly fox should have gone into Politics instead of archvillainly]

Good employees inform before taking vacation, you know.

[A low, amused sigh]
Tell you what, the next time someone goes crazy and decides to try to kill me, I'll give you advance notice with a probable return time. Sound fair?
no subject
[ He's actually joking with her... just that his sense of humour runs a little dark. ]
That would suit, yes.
no subject
[She actually laughs]
I shall consult my crystal ball daily so that you aren't caught off guard again.

What does the Babylonian Goddess of war and sex have to do with seeing the future?
no subject
no subject
[One of those cursed items then, and thus not something she'd want to use.]
Well, unless Isis shows up here, we'll just have to divine some other way to see the future.
But the fog, it seems to dampen the effects of magic. Even Revelations isn't glowing as brightly as normal.
no subject
Wouldn't that be a sight if she did? But then, there have been two others besides me, so it's not impossible.
Aa, the Ring dislikes it as well.
no subject
Strange. It must affect both sides equally then.
no subject
Perhaps we should tick off the rest of the elements.

[ The joke is light, not mean-spirited, but surprisingly Bakura uses the man's first name, where he typically refers to others by a surname when they have one. ]

[The skeleton could fly, he should be able to handle a tiny flame.]

His fragile ego would never recover from such an offense.

And... yes. I have also noticed some anomalies with the fog. I expect the sooner we can clear it, the better.
Re: Video
[ more idle curiosity than genuine interest ]
Too bad we don't have a convenient weather witch.
no subject
[He looks slightly puzzled by this.]
It is... not the most unusual fog I have encountered. But a long-term stay seems like it would be detrimental. Are weather-witches convenient for you back home?
no subject
No, but we've had a few here in the past.
no subject
[He gives a small nod]
Let us hope another shows soon. Perhaps they will have better luck in dealing with it.
no subject
At least it's not of the poisonous variety, as with the Kithika incident. What is the most unusual fog you've encountered, tekhenu?
no subject
He didn't seem the sort to take kindly to such things.
[Still, the latter gets a raised brow from Klaus.]
There was poisonous fog here? And the perpetual fog in Jerusalem's Lot back home has... many unusual properties. Not all have been discovered.
no subject
Yes, there was a world -- well, something of a world. Part of the Death Plane. That was trapped inside the bottle. It was opened, and many of the Foreigners went inside of it to battle a dragon. But here in Keeliai, a black fog began poisoning things, leaving mold.
video;
[Because for him, it's not. Exactly.]
Re: video;
And what have you noticed, waheh-maw?
video;
Let's just say I might be starting to see the light.
Re: video;
How?
no subject
[He had been something of a guinea pig of late.]
The effects didn't set in for a few days, and is heightened if I wash with the salt distilled from the fog.
no subject
[ Bakura had, obviously erroneously, assumed that it was. ]
Did you know?
no subject
[Not that it's stopping Raine from pursuing the option; hence, the salt wash.]
That it could be resolved in such a way? No. Raine said my mana processes thereabouts had been cauterised.
no subject
It wasn't so long ago that you rebuked me for dismissing an improbable option without giving it due consideration, you know.
no subject
Fair. If anyone can find the answer, it will be Raine.
[The truth is ... he isn't sure how he feels about the possibility all on its own.]
no subject
Of course. Raine will surely have some ideas about it.
no subject
[Why yes, he is indeed evading his own feelings by making puns at his own expense.]
