So... with the wave coming and the idea we might get out of the fog soon... I was wondering...

Would anyone like to start a garden? It doesn't have to be for any plant in particular, but I thought maybe helping something grow might help improve spirits after being so long in all this. [ There's a beat. ] I was going to use it to practice my magic but if anyone wanted to grow things the old-fashioned way, I'd like that, too!

It's just a thought. I'm not even sure where I'd be able to do it yet.

Gardening, even the 'old fashioned' way, is very rewarding. I can offer a donation of supplies - be it seeds, tools, fertilizer - anything you might require.

Ah - I apologize, I wasn't clear. I just meant even without magic it can still be a rewarding experience. Especially with friends.

And I would be glad to. Mr Kirishima ran a small gardening circle at his botanical gardens back home.

Have you picked a nice spot to begin your garden?

Oh. Um... not yet. Someone... mentioned a greenhouse but I'll have to look into that...

I thought someone had made one a while ago. A greenhouse, or something like that. It was from before everyone spent the year in the Dreaming.

Um... if everyone was gone for a year... do you think it's still there?

Don't try to be smart with me, little mouse. I was watching fields sown long before you were around. Even if the plants aren't still there, wouldn't it make sense to use the facilities that might be?

That's what I mean, though. If it's been left that long, wouldn't someone else have started using it?

That's not what I meant. Just that if it's been unused for so long, I can't just say "that's great, I'll just take that" without seeing if anyone else is already using it...
