[Good evening, Keeliai, have your first Damian-as-Robin post. And, yes, it is the slightly different Robin voice, too.]
Considering the level of technology here, there was an item I found on the Mainland that might, I suppose, belong to one of the foreigners. It certainly doesn't match anything native, especially with the organic component in the consoles.
It is a laptop with a glowing symbol on it, and if anyone has something like that, back home, let me know.
[Yes, the specifics of the symbol are left out on purpose. Damian has to have a way to check if the item really does belong to the person who might answer.]

It has things on it that are on the border between technology and magic. [And he can say that without irony or uncertainty.] Whoever owns it has used some of it, so returning it to them won't change the balance of things. But we will know whom to watch. May already know.
[And because the tone is nagging at him - she hasn't really used it in him for a while, he thinks back about things for a moment. Then, reluctantly, offers.]
Are you in need of anything?

Whoever owns it could be a useful ally. [there's a bit of a warning in that, too, meaning be nice to whoever claims it.
The offer gives her pause; she's surprised that would offer, especially when he's seemingly in a bad mood. Still, she can hear that reluctance]
I'm managing, but thank you.

[Damian. Huffs.] Another reason I am not trying to keep the thing. [He will be... as careful as he can. He gets it, though he is not above antagonizing powerful people back home, either.]
[And, well, he doesn't have Nell and company to make sure they know where Batgirl is down so they can cheer her up, and he really sucks at the whole 'people are down do nice things for them' thing. Though Grayson had a conversation with him after Drake woke up and Damian started with the demands and everything. So he is. Trying.]

What are the rest of the reasons? [It's said lightly, but she's also kind of genuinely curious.]

[Then again, Damian managed to hack into it and is still about. Which... yeah. If there was magic on the laptop itself, it would surely be at least partially defensive.]
[... light? With Damian? Hah.]
I can't use what is there, but probably could, and Father likely could, but finding out how would take up resources. Mostly time. Also, what I've seen suggests that it has not been used to hurt people that need protection, so its right owner would probably continue using it in that direction - which goes with the ally thing, but not only. Also, we'll know who it is. Also, I don't need stolen things.
[It is difficult to say which of those reasons, if any, weighs more than the rest.]

It doesn't escape her notice that stealing is wrong isn't there, but she won't comment on it]
I'm glad it seems to belong to one of the good guys.
Let me know when you find out, yeah?

Though, to be honest, he didn't mention it just now because he considers it one of the rules and therefore not worth mentioning separately.]
I will.
[Not 'of course' - Batgirl has been on Oracle's information loop, not necessarily directly in the Bats' - but it's agreement all the same.]

Good luck with the search. [And with that she disconnects. Normally she'd be more chatty but between how she's feeling and his mood, it felt more sensible to just leave it as is]
