001 [Console; Video]
[The welcome centre had, indeed, been welcoming. Which was a pretty good thing, considering Adrien had bust in very confused and very worried. Plagg was more exhausted than Adrien had ever seen him, and it took a lot of convincing that Hawk Moth hadn't just straight up kidnapped him. But he'd been calmed and informed. He still wasn't exactly happy. He needed to be back home. With Ladybug. They were not supposed to be apart. Still. For now, he decided to play along. Not much else he could do.
So a fifteen year old boy will appear on the feed, offering a polite smile and a small wave.]
Um. Hello. I'm Adrien. I'm new here... obviously. I'm still trying to get used to the whole turtle thing. I mean. This is a whole lot different to Paris. Less honeymooners, that's for sure.
[He gives a small, nervous laugh. He has no idea what he's doing. For the first time in his life, he's free without the mask. There's no staff waiting to whisk him away to whatever his father had planned for him that day. There's no schedule. He has to do this on his own and it's as terrifying as it is liberating.]
I guess I need to find a place to live? Does anyone have any idea where the best place to be is? I would be very grateful.
[He startles, as if something has kicked him in the ribs, which; hidden under his shirt, has absolutely happened.]
OW!- I mean oh!. And cheese. Is there a good place for cheese here? Thank you.
[And now he's gonna be the Weird Cheese Kid, thanks Plagg. Thanks a lot.]

I... have no idea about the cheese, though.
no subject
[The brief thought that maybe cheese won't be something obtainable here crosses his mind, and he inwardly winces. Plagg is hard enough to live with as is, without cheese? Wow. ]
I'm sure I'll find some somewhere. I'm pretty sure I saw a cow when I arrived?
...Or I think it was a cow. It had feathers.
no subject
[ Junior just kind of stares at that, then shakes his head. ]
I don't know what it's like across the pond in Paris, but cows don't have feathers.
no subject
[He chuckles, shaking his head. ]
We don't really have cows in Paris. Big city and all. But they definitely don't have feathers in the farms.Maybe it's a special sort of cow that lives here?
...Or not-a-cow. I'd imagine it has an actual name.

That depends. What kind of cheese?
[Solomon's voice is subtly Irish, and though the video is activated on both their parts, his gaze is unfocussed.]
video;
Camembert is the best. But any cheese'll do really.
[He'll just keep on smiling, hoping the guy doesn't question the WHYS about the cheese thing. His ability to lie convincingly is pretty well, but there's no way he can make it sound anything but weird.]
video;
Camembert. There's a kind of goat's cheese which has a similar texture. ... For a given definition of 'goat'. Expensive, though. And ... aromatic, shall we say.
You like cheese, do you?
video;
That'd work just fine, thank you.
[He hates it so much. ]
Sometimes, you just get a craving for cheese.

The Midnight Hotel, I suppose, if you don't mind the owner.
[She does, but that's personal.]
Or the Sky Sector. The housing there is adequate.
[A beat. When she speaks again she sounds politely amused. Specifically at the attempt to conceal pain.]
My dear, did the console attack you?
audio;
[God, he hopes the owner isn't some crazy axe murder or something. They wouldn't put an axe murderer in charge of a hotel, would they? Nino talked about that super old film once, he's pretty sure there was an axe murderer in charge of a hotel there. But that wouldn't happen in real life, would it?
...Oh wait, she's still talking. ]
Oh...yeah. I got a shock from it. Guess I've got a little static on me.
audio;
[This is not by any stretch of the imagination a compliment.]
[She's somewhat skeptical about the latter, but lets it slide for now.]
Do be careful. I've heard they can liquefy if they're upset.
audio;
[Mostly himself. Or rather the other himself. ]
But I think I can live with that for a roof over my head.
[Oh. Well...that's worrying. He'll take a step back from it, just in case.]
Seriously? Do they spit out acid or something?

You're from Paris?
no subject
Yeah! I really love it there. Have you ever been?
no subject
I haven't, no. I grew up too far south. The Midi-Pyrénées region, not far from the Ocean.
Even when I left my village...our travels took us too far East.
no subject
That's a shame, it's a beautiful city.
[And he means that. He loves Paris a great deal. ]
Still, it must have been pretty awesome to travel. I bet you have a ton of interesting stories.

What is cheese?
[Video]
Oh. It's.
[Okay, how to describe cheese without making it sound disgusting even when he thinks it's disgusting. ]
It's a dairy product. Kind of like old, solid milk??
[Yeah, no. He can't make this sound good. Cheese is the worst. ]
[Video]
...Milk.
[She's got a vague idea of that - she's seen it around the hotel at least.]
So... it is something for eating?

Video - Because Adrien needs some giant black robodog in his life
The Midnight Hotel seems to be the most common waypoint for new arrivals to the city, before they find more permanent housing.
As for cheese, there are several vendors in the city who will be able to accommodate you, i believe. I cannot comment as to the quality of their product.
Video - hell yes
He'll just...breeze by the dog thing. Breezing. Breeeziiing. ]
That place got a lot of recommendations, I think that's the best place for me to head.
[Good. Vendors. There's some scrabbling at his side but he doesn't care. Plagg will have to eat whatever cheese he can get him and like it. Or at least tolerate it. ]
That's very helpful. The quality doesn't matter all that much. So long as it's cheese. [Polite smile. ] Thank you.
Video - One letter off and that could have painted a VERY different picture
[Bladewolf nods.]
You are welcome.
[A pause.]
I am known as Bladewolf. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance.
Video - HAH
Video - I didn't even notic e it until AFTER I'd posted. Freudian much? XD

Honestly, I don't mind where I stay. I'm not fussy.
[Just sleeping outside the estate is an adventure. Not to be surrounded by giant walls and top-notch security gates is more than welcome. ]
Re: video;
[ Yep, no further context for that one. ]
Sky Sector has housing for us, and the Midnight Hotel still has some rooms. But you can live anywhere you can pay for.
