[Midii appeared on screen looking...slightly less put together than usual. Her hair, which looked like it had once been in a ponytail, was sticking up all over the place, and there were a mixture of leaves and flower petals sticking out at odd ends. There was also a large streak of blue...something...covering most of her cheek. It looked smudged, like she'd tried to wipe it off and failed miserably.]
[Besides that, her arms were folded, and she was notably glaring at the camera--ie: no one in particular.]
Either the local kids in the park are mad at us again...or else somebody told them about all those tricks people kept playing the other day.
Speaking of: did anybody put all that furniture back yet, or should I start looking for a more right-side up place to live?
[Harmless as it had all been, it seemed Midii was less than amused by the Hotel's April 1st celebration.]

You know, you're probably better off in the long run.
[People ask your for your autograph all the time and your friends create creepy shrines to you in their bedrooms. No one wants this life. ]
Video
Normally, I would say 'in the short run, too', but...
[Tree sap. Because, yeah, she was pretty much banking on it being tree sap.]
If you value any of your wardrobe, I'd stay away from the park for the rest of the day. I can still see them up there from the cafe window.
Video
Thank for the warning, I'll be sure to give them a wide berth. Maybe someone will go there and convince them to leave.
[That someone being Chat. ]
Video
The only non-kedan person I ever saw them listen to...isn't here anymore.
[She misses you, Jack. :c]
Video
Video
If you ever figure out who that person is, send them my way. Just in case I ever need a bodyguard next time I want to go for a walk through the park.
[She's only partially joking.]
Video
Video
Who is he?
Video
It's pretty cool, I didn't even think he knew I existed.
Video
[Unfortunately, that had been the last time she and Robin had spoken. She hadn't known him well enough to know if and when he ever disappeared or went back home or whatever happened to him....]
You might be surprised what people like that know. Or who.
Video 1/2
I suppose you're right. Anyway, sit tight and I'll see if I can contact him for you. He might be willing to help you out.
[And off he vanishes. ]
Action 2/2
He drops casually down from the tree himself, waving at their retreating forms. Then, in a way he's had to fake not knowing people he absolutely knows many a time, turns around. squinting, searching. ]
There someone called- what did he say it was again? Maddy? Middy? Whatever- she here?
Action
[She'd...she hadn't actually expected anyone to show up, so when the screen suddenly went dark, she could only stare at it for a long moment in confusion.]
[Long enough that, in time, a certain commotion outside drew her attention. Leaves rustling and children's laughter. Then...they actually ran off. She did a quick mental count, and from what she could recall from her early encounter, they'd all scampered off together. Followed by...a blonde-haired figure dressed all in black.]
[Was that the person Adrian had mentioned earlier? From his home?]
[...]
[
Why did all the French people around here seem to have blonde hair?]...whatever-she?
[She'd made it all the way to the door of the cafe, leaning against the frame, when she heard the guy calling...well, she knew he was looking for her, probably, but the least he could have done was remember her name. It wasn't that hard to remember, was it?]
Action
Ah, you must be the young mademoiselle that Agreste guy sent me looking for. It's a purrrrrsure to meet you. Name's Chat Noir, come to rescue from a heh sticky situation.
Action
[W O W.]
[Midii hadn't met someone like that since...pretty much ever. She basically stood in the doorway, brows raised and face looking partially like a deer caught in headlights and partially...curious.]
Umm...thank you?
[After a few awkward seconds, she stood up straight.]
I'm Midii. Midii Une.
Action
[He straightens, smirk plastered across his face, and half turns to gesture to the now empty tree. ]
Well, as you can see, I rescued you from the little sticky ninjas, so now you're free to head home and wash that gunk out.
[He turns back to her, hands on hips. ]
But I better escort you back just in case. I'm pretty sure I convinced them to stay away, but they could just be going to get reinforcements.
Action
[On the other hand...she had to admit, he had a point; just because the kids were out of the trees now didn't mean they didn't still have some of their arsenal left. They could catch her at any point between here and the Hotel.]
I...guess so.
You don't, by any chance, travel by rooftop, do you?
Action
Well, that's the usual for me. Great views, no traffic. But it won't kill me to escort you on foot.
[He waggles his eyebrows, smirk widening. ]
Unless of course you'd like to live a little more dangerously and take the rooftops. I promise to not drop you.
Action
[The response came a little too sense and quick. No offense to him, but...the last person she'd gone rooftop-jumping with, she had trusted. She'd had reason to trust him. Chat Noir...she had only just met. Not soon enough in the relationship to let him wrap his arms around her and carry her all the way up there...or whatever his preferred method was.]
I guess all superheroes really do prefer it up there. No matter what world you're from.
Action
[He gives her a salute, two fingers off the side of his head. It's a signature thing. ]
But seen as I can't tempt you to the ways of the roof, we can walk it. Whenever you're ready, Mademoiselle.
Action
After you, Monsieur.
[With a heavy, yet natural accent on the title. Seldom as she encountered a native speaker, it was always a treat to be able to speak someone and know they were literally speaking the same language, rather than some magically-translated version.]
Though I suggest the main roads for now. The more witnesses, the less likely those kids will be back for revenge.
Action
Smart thinking. Less places for them to leap out from, too.
Action
I wouldn't count that out.
There's still plenty of shops and alleyways. If you know the shortcuts around the city as well as I do, you'd know just how easy it can be to hide in plain sight.
Action
Boy, do I. It's the second best way to get around. After the rooftops, can't beat those.
[As he walks, he glances around them, keeping an eye on their surroundings. It's an almost unseen movement, he barely even moves his head, but even as he starts casual conversation he's looking, listening. Waiting to see if trouble rears its head again. ]
So. You do anything to get those kids to sticky you up, or was it just a wrong place wrong time kind of deal?
Action
...they said I act too "grown up" for them, and that I needed to lighten up more.
