That's a good question. I'd guess there's something in the water on this planet. Or maybe it photosynthesizes through it's shell, with as many trees as there are in this place.

Makes sense. Does this turtle follow any movement pattern?

It's comatose. Haven't been able to figure out of there's a current pushing it in any direction because of it's size. Based on the sun, it's facing roughly north.

Are there any other sea animals in here that support cities as well?

I don't think so, though I haven't spent much time out of the city. From what I've heard from the locals, there was a group of smaller turtles, offspring from the one the city is built on, that existed at one time.
