Good evening, everyone.

We have presently been on the shores of Tavimbi for approximately five months and in this time, Tu Vishan has shown signs of waking. Though, as I am sure you know, he remains unconscious.

I propose that we take the next steps in waking him. There have been attempts in the past to contact and awaken him, and though a link was temporarily established not once, but twice, and though Tu Vishan stirred, the link was shortly thereafter broken. I have hypothesized that the reason being was a lack of power, a lack of psychic compatibility, or a possible combination of both.

As some may know, I have been considering the possibility of utilizing the Xunetane for the very purpose of lending a power source and stabilizer to those able to make a psychic or magical connection.

In recent months, Mr Kenobi, his compatriots, the Metalworkers, Miss Valdis, myself and several others have found links between Tu Vishan's energy signature and the one given off by the Xunetane and the associated 'Truth' crystals. Charako has kindly permitted this under the condition that she be there to monitor the energy levels so that nothing... explodes.

[There's a small quirk of a smile at this, as though he'd even consider attempting to use a giant powerful magic rock without the help of Charako's expertise.]

I have also approached the heads of the families about this matter. For now, they have agreed.

I would ask that we set aside present dilemmas, at least as far as the waking of Tu Vishan is concerned, and work together - both Kedan and foreigner. Here we can finalize the details, as well as formulate contingency plans and alternate solutions. I believe all of us are united in the desire to see Tu Vishan awake and healthy.

For one thing, we'd be able to go somewhere tropical and warm over summer. And being able to rely on regular trading schedules is always nice.

We've been maintaining the radio outposts, and with the relocatable towers in the city we should be able to offer a solid communications network. Possibly we can use it to boost the crystals, or however you plan to organise those.

Communication will likely be integral to channeling the power of these stones. You have my deepest thanks.

Deciding the 'how' is one of the purposes of this post. I have experience in organizing large-scale efforts with those who are supernaturally gifted, though it involved having knowledge of their abilities beforehand. The situation here presents a few challenges that need to be discussed.

Because Malicant and his cultists wanted Tu Vishan unconscious for a reason. Should he wake, then we may be able to find out much. And this is not even factoring in how beneficial his revival would be to the Kedan. If what I am told correctly, his rounds were a large part of their trade and diplomacy.

Going home is not much of a priority - time does not pass in our worlds, and most foreigners are only here for a few years at most.

I've heard the different concerns as well as the theories of what would happen if Tu Vishan stays asleep for longer and it really looks like it's on everyone's favour it he wakes up.

I want to help but I don't posses any special sort of ability or energy. I'm a baseline human. Is there anything I can do?

Agreed, though we cannot act rashly. It would be as bad for the Kedan if we inadvertently harmed him than if we did nothing.

As I recall, the truth crystals forced anyone within a certain proximity of one to volunteer whole truths regardless of character or personal safety.

[Yunxu hated them, as can be safely assumed. Right now, though, he's all business, expression neutral and manner professional.]

Can you be certain involving them in your... ritual won't result in adverse consequences for Tu Vishan? Awake and sick is hardly any better than asleep and healthy.

There is no certainty, I'm afraid. Our understanding of Tu Vishan and his people is woefully limited.

However, if you have any information to volunteer on the matter that would spare us any consequences, it would be welcome.

If the Xunutane is the sufficient--language--surely Tu Vishan will have responded if he could. How do you intend to focus its power in a manner he can hear?

Ah - I apologize I was not more detailed in my own explanation. The power would be focused into those who would connect with him. They had some moderate success before but were pushed out in some way. Perhaps it was a lack of power or lack of compatibility. I believe the Xunetane's power would provide both.

If we can establish a link long enough to even just find out what is causing this then I would count it as a victory, albeit smaller than what I hope can be achieved.
