You like to sew? I've been trying to get a little custom tailoring business up and running but starting a government and running a police force kind of got in the way - still, it'd be cool to get it going. And it's probably a good way to make money - the baking too actually, lots of places would love to have you.

[Marinette doesn't do a bad job of keeping up with her energetic speed either. After all, this is her favorite subject they're talking about.]

Really? Yeah-- sewing, design... you name it. My parents run their own bakery, so I've learned a little from them about the business side of things, so if you think I could help, I'd love to.

There was another Foreigner here a few months ago that started working at a local bakery, so you could definitely find work doing that. [Steady, and reasonably well-paid, too, especially if Marinette has some new recipes up her sleeve to share.]

But if you really like the sewing idea, maybe even just on the side, there's a lot of Foreigners that sometimes just want something from home - and I've been trying to get something going to provide a few sets of clothes to new people and have them available at the Welcome Center when they arrive.

It's my dream to become a designer, so... if you think there's enough interest, I'd be happy to help you start something. Especially since I'm kind of interested in other people's styles and what I can learn from them.

Oh, there's definitely interest. I can show you what I've got right now - I kind of took over our spare bedroom. You can come over to the house if you'd like. Whenever. [Pepper smiles warmly.] And we can just hang out sometimes; I know it can be weird, and hard, at first.

Oh, yeah, I totally get it. I showed up here when I was in the middle of an alien invasion, and that's only barely the weirdest thing that's happened back home. I recommend cookies and a lot of tea, [Pepper says with a sage sort of seriousness that she doesn't entirely mean.]
