I've been wondering about some things lately. I understand that I need to get some sort of job here. [Will laughs lightly.] But I'm afraid that I really don't know what I could do. I used to help care for the chickens and rabbit back home, but I don't think there would be much call for that here.

And I suppose there is jewelry. I've been taught a bit about engraving. But I don't really know whether that will be of any use either.

Does anyone have any ideas?

I've made it in a variety of flavours, native and otherwise, and I've even managed to brew something similar to stuff back home.

I've tested all of them myself, so they're not poisonous, but I have used all natural ingredients, so if you're allergic to the thing, don't drink the thing.

Hey guys, I know it's been a while since I used this thing, but a lot's happened since then. And one of those things is-- I finally have some work space for myself. So. I'd like to start putting it to some good use. That's where I'm hoping you all come in.

I mentioned it before in passing, but I love sewing. Well, designing specifically. Clothes, accessories-- you name it. Whether it's recreating an old favorite or making something new a stylish, I want to offer my services to anyone interested.

And since my portfolio didn't exactly come with me, the first three people to submit a request can have them free of charge. I hope that once everyone sees what I can do, they'll be happy to trust me with their orders. It can be as specific or as vague as you want with them, but the more specific you get, the more information I'm going to need.

You all managed to not destroy the city while I was away. Aside from that magical mishap at the end, that is, but it seems there was little lasting harm.

[Her voice is strong, but pleasant. Valdis is back and ready to take charge again.]

I'll admit that I've been a bit distracted as of late, but I am back and there is a problem I would like to address. The Cultists have had free reign to do as they please and we are lucky that they haven't struck as hard as I believe they are capable of.

[What with having Milyn's knowledge and skills as well as Daseng's, if he was as clever and intelligent as Milyn claimed.]

To counter this problem, I am creating a special task force within the Police Department that will focus solely on the Cultists and their plans.

[This is in no way just a personal vendetta, the cultists are a threat, but she has the power to do it, so she might as well.]

If anyone had any information that may prove useful to the task force, or wishes to join it, please let me know.

Seems like there's been a lot going on during the couple of months since I got here - good things. New ideas, beginnings. I've also had the pleasure of talking to several of you who've been here for awhile yourselves. Most have talked about Keeliai like it's home now.

[Steve smiles at that word, but there's something almost sad about it. 'Home' will always be a complicated subject for him.]

I just celebrated my first birthday here, but I think it might take a bit longer to feel that way to me. I do have an idea that I think might help. I wanted to talk to those of you who've opened businesses here, get some advice. I have an idea for something, and a heck of a partner, but I haven't exactly amassed a fortune. [Where's a genius billionaire playboy philanthropist when you need one. He sighs, but when the little bird nearby starts to sing, his spirits are lifted again.] As much as going in debt goes against my better judgment, it's an option I'm willing to consider to get the ball rolling. The question is, is there any place that even gives loans to Foreigners?

Until then, if anyone needs some one-on-one training, I've got the time for it. Unless you'd rather be trained by the three-time YMCA welterweight boxing champ.

I moved! Also! I've been here for exactly two months so! I'm having a little housewarming party and celebration at my new house today! Anyone can just drop by at any time, my door's open!

I now live in the Sky Sector and I call my little place the Hawks Nest because I'm part of the Black Hawks and it says so on the mailbox so you can't miss it! It's super cute and cozy! Come say hi, I'm making cakes and cupcakes and stuff, try some! Specially Ren-chan [ Kylo Ren ] and Tammya [ River Tam ] you gotta drop by! Ren-chan needs more sugar in his system and Tammya helped me! [ She actually just gave him the idea to move but anyway. And Hyuuga will forever try to stuff Kylo Ren full with sweets, there's no escaping it now. ~~Actually you're not forced to come but he will be a pouty about it next time if you don't come.~~ ]

I literally just walked across a turtle's shell. I'm pretty sure that ranks right up there on the list of crazy stuff to happen in my life. Then again, there's that weird girl in my class at school and then there's Aoko and her mops so... maybe it's not so weird, now that I think about it.
