Hello everyone,

Last week sure had been something else. To those who helped me, or at least made a valiant attempt at not stepping on me, I can't thank you enough. To those who has no idea what I am talking about, ...lucky you! Feel free to ignore this message.

It is me or the hell had started pulsing at night? I haven't been in this city long enough to tell if that's normal. I am guessing it might have something to do with the Turtle finally awakening?

I thought that me showing up was excuse enough to 'warrant it' when it came to your standards.

As for the shell - it's possible the stones may be having their desired effect.

It's good to see you back to your normal self too, Klaus. I'm going to miss all that fantastic mane, though.

Great news then. You think the turtle might wake up for real soon?

If the trade-off is to have working hands again, then it's a sacrifice I'm willing to make.

As for Tu Vishan... it is hard to say for certain, but I am cautiously optimistic. We shall see how things progress.

Heh. Well you could always let your hair grow and have both.

My experience as a young and foolhardy teenager would advise against long hair. At least on my part - the upkeep was terrible.

I felt it too. I wasn't here the last time he was awake, so I don't know for certain- but it's definitely different from normal.

So it's not me imagining things. Different isn't necessary bad, perhaps it means that what we tried these last weeks it's finally working to wake up the Turtle.

Maybe? That would be good. I know things might not be great for the Turtle, after everything that's happened to him...but it's a step in the right direction.

You are right. I've been wondering lately if he feels lonely or depressed. Might be a reason why he's been sleep for so long.

Having a supervillain in control of him won't have helped. I've seen what that does to people. It's not pretty.

It's been a long, weird, few weeks...made all the more strange by both the appearance of Poe as a little sugar glider, as well as Rey having been...not quite herself. ]

I'm alright. [ she supposes. it's been strange and uncomfortable and parts of it she's not sure she wants to recollect. ] How are you, is the question?

I'm guessing by the appearance of this text that it means you're no longer going to be able to fit in my hands. [ that last part at least gets a smirk, even if it's a concerned one. ]

[Poe is clearly relieved to see her not injured.

They both could use some rest and sleep, though, it seems.]

Hm, are you really? [He knows that 'alright', he uses it always often enough to tell when is not 100% genuine.] I'm really hungry but aside from that...

Alas, no, I'm taller now, albeit not all that much. Less covered in fur too, which is a good thing. I do need to shave, though.

Not really, fruits vegetables, a worm, once......[One that he found inside an apple little Ben gave to him. It had been an interesting discovery.] They did the trick at the time but now my stomach is complaining.

Ahh, once again you area life saber, Rey. I'll set the table in the meantime.

A worm? Who gave you that?? Ugh. [ she shakes her head somewhat disgustedly; she's eaten worse things (ngl) on Jakku, but now that she's no longer starving the thought seems anathema to her.

an hour later she's striding into their home, bearing spicy and scented food — chicken, beef, vegetables and spicy noodles. She holds up the bag, excitedly. ]

I got those little dessert buns you like, too, with the whipped cream filling! [ somewhat sheepishly: ] They were on sale, I couldn't resist.

[ she feels badly for spending so much of their hard-earned money on food sometimes, but there are so many things that taste so good, she finds her willpower never lasts long. ]

I do wonder how powerful the Turtle will be when it is fully awakened.

(He will do his utmost to syphon some of the Magic off. What? No, he isn't greedy. Just ambitious.)

You can feel them with your powers? I do not posses any magic qualities so those sort of things are impossible for me to detect unless they're visible.

I'm going to take a wild guess and say very powerful. Which is why others had tried to control him in the past.

I was some sort of flying rodent, I hadn't figured out yet what animal I was. I could find on the palm of a hand and stick to anything.

Since this power is from a whole different world than ours, I didn't know if such things would be possible. I hate making assumptions.


You're not worried it could be too much? The turtle is, after all, a giant entity.

Not sure, really. I've never seen a bat like that one and I didn't feel inclined to drink blood but who knows for sure. I'm glad is over, being so small was very problematic.
