[Hey, Keelial. Remember him? He looks a lot more tired than before, his hair is ruffled and his shirt looks partly undone. It looks like he's sat in the College.]

Anyone noticed the pattern on the Turtle's shell? It's... pulsing. It started like... three? Four days ago? The time between the pulses is getting shorter.

I'm not sure what this means, but... hey. It sounds important, right? I've done some math and, well... I think... [Yawn.] ...I think the pulses are gonna stop in a week or so. If the period between them keeps getting shorter.

Assuming that's what this is.

I'm not an expert in giant, sentient chelonii, but I've heard they don't like being shackled down.

It's possible Tu Vishan may want to start swimming as soon as he's awake, or he might want to stop for breakfast first. I dunno.

Well, I used to work as a consultant for the FBI.

[Ah, yes, the FBI...]

[His grin widens.]

Because I was rather atypical of the consultants the beurau usually bring on-board.

You'll have to forgive the irony, but I'm not a huge fan of the FBI on my world.

[A shrug.]

I was only a consultant. Besides, if it wasn't for our FBI, the world would have probably ended years ago. Differences between realities. Yours might be dicks, but ours saved billions... whilst still being kinda dickish.

Sounds like yours would be exactly like the people I didn't get along with on my world.

[And her FBI was a fly compared to them.]

But that's neither here or there. What did you consult on for them?

Fringe science. Stuff that's considered fantasy or science fiction. Put simply, our world started slowly falling apart, and we had to figure out how and why and try to stop it.

[Many would consider her kind as 'fantasy', so that's not strange. Not really.]

Yeah, so time travel, alternate universes and everything like that? Kinda my specialty.

As good as that is to hear, you know why I need to get outta here.

[A pause.]

...In the meanwhile, I'm also pretty good at forensics, autopsies, I used to be a fireman and I make a mean waffle stack with blueberries.

Forensics. I could use someone good with forensics on the team.

I'm going to assume we're not particularily equipped for full-blown investigations?

I'm certain that Tony will let us use his lab at the college.

[She hadn't been there since the explosion, but surely ti had been repaired by now.]

If not, the college has excellent facilities of their own and I can request a lab for you.

I'd prefer to have my own space. I've been renting labspace here for a while, somewhere permanent would be great.
