[ Here's someone not seen for a while. She looks a little disheveled, but otherwise, whole and hearty. ]

I think I disappeared from here? The date seems to be quite different from what I remember. I've already stopped by and seen that the shelter is still running.

[ The paperwork is a mess, but she'll straighten that out soon enough. ]

On to more important business. I need help at the shelter. Several people would be ideal, but what I need is a head honcho. [ Yes, she just said that. ] There's relatively little money in it, but doing good works is its own reward?

[ To Jackie: ]

Are you still here, Jackie? I'm sorry I disappeared, I just went to sleep and when I woke up an entire month had passed. It's a bit disconcerting, really.

[ Brigid comes out of the office, when she hears Jackie's voice. She smiles and walks over. She just hugs him because she missed him. ]

Um. Hi.

[Well...a hug is good! That's good, right? She missed him? He hugs her back.]

Hey. I missed you.

[ A hug is always good! She likes hugs and she does keep hugging him. ]

Hi. I missed you too. I'm sorry I left.

It's okay, I was...I was worried. I didn't think you would...

[He sighs.]

I'm really glad you're back.

I honestly don't know what happened. I fell asleep doing some translations, and... then a month was gone. I'm actually a little annoyed.

[ She hugs him again. ]

I'm sorry you were worried.

[jinzhong]

It's okay, [he says again.] You're back now, it's fine.

[He pauses.] Hey, uh...I kinda want to kiss you now. Is that okay?

[ She blushes. Then, she reaches up and plants a kiss on his cheek. ]

Okay.

[jinzhong]

[Jackie grins, gently places a hand on the back of her neck, and places a brief kiss on her mouth.]

Okay?

[SHIT HE HASN'T KISSED A GIRL IN LIKE THREE YEARS]

[ Oh, that's nice. Can she have more? ]

Yeah, okay.

Okay, [he says with a bit of a relieved laugh, grins, and kisses her again.]

[ She wraps her arms around him and kisses him back. ]

I think I do, too, [he says, a little breathlessly.]

Shit - should we be, should I be, I dunno, is it okay to...kiss you at work?

Oh. Oh, well...

[ She blushes, when several of the people around applaud both of them. ]

I don't think they mind?

[He's blushing, too.]

[He kisses her again.]

[ Oh, she likes kissing. It's new and interesting, and she likes it. Good thing he appears to like doing it too. ]
