 So I've been thinking of maybe setting up my telescope one of these days. You know, before the weather does something else weird. Anyone interested in trying to make an astronomy night of it?

I can take people above the city for a little while. One at a time, but the view of the stars should be clearer there.

I'm not sure yet. But sooner would probably be better. Before it starts getting cold.

Let me know as far in advance as you can, so I can arrange my schedule. And perhaps find some constellation resources-- all of the Foreigners will find the local constellations strange, it would be good to have something like a booklet for reference. Perhaps certain knowledgeable kedan could be persuaded to help...

Do you have an idea location at which to set up your telescope? Particularly considering the degree of light pollution in various areas of the city itself hindering visibility.

I haven't got that far yet. Outside the city would be better for visibility, but staying inside the city would make it easier for people to get to it.

Perhaps you could offer a means of mass travel for those who wish to view in more ideal locations?

I guess people are interested in the myths too.

My father was very excited about constellations because they would tell the stories of legendary heroes and beautiful women and scary monsters.

The stars were my bedtime stories.

Yeah, really. I've been looking for a good reason to try my telescope out. And I figure we could find some constellation charts here, since none of them will be like they are at home.
