[Victor looks a little annoyed when he turns on his console tonight. Behind him, the view of his suite is blocked by some rock. A big, talking rock to be exact. Santo's right there behind him.]

Hey, everyone. I've got a question for everyone that's familiar with superheroes. It's about the costumes. They're an important thing to have, right? For a lot of reasons like protecting and hiding secret identities.

But this guy [He jerks a thumb over his shoulder at Santo.] just says they're stupid.

Don't get me wrong, the costumes are cool but that's about it. Wearing one just to hide your identity is what's stupid. You don't see Ms. Marvel, Iron Man, or Hawkeye worried about people knowing who they are. Hell, Luke Cage doesn't even wear a costume and he kicks all kinds of ass!

Besides, you don't see any X-Men hiding behind a mask.

[Victor just rolls his eyes.]

Lots of X-Men have worn masks. [He shakes his head.] So what do you guys think? Costumes important for superheroes or not?

The answer is obviously not.

[Victor doesn't even bother replying. He just gives Santo a look.]

You don't think snow's a present?

Maybe when I was a kid and it got me out of class for the day, but not so much after my mutation.

Maybe that's when you grew up.

[ Kids always did. It was something he's watched over and over. ]

No, I'm pretty sure that came later. It's just that my school's idea of a "Snow Day" is to teach lessons in winter combat and survival training.

[ Jack looks immeasurably sad at that. ]

[And that's one of those things that doesn't go missed by Santo. He's used to those looks from his friends.]

But... Hey! I mean, it's not always bad. Impromptu snowball fights and stuff aren't so uncommon. Just means I don't get to sleep in and spend all day in my pajamas, you know?

And nothing's to stop us from having a snow day here either. You and Storm could team up and go all winter wonderland on this place.

I've thought about it but... Storm?

She's a mutant like me, and a queen too, but maybe not yet since she's so young here but that's not the point. She can control the weather and make rain, wind, and even snow.

[ Jack's eyes widen slightly. ]

So she's like Mother Nature.

Yeah, kinda. That's kind of a nickname that we have for her around here, and there are parts of the world that call her a goddess.

I'd like to meet her...
