[Despite his relatively neutral expression, this post isn't easy to make. At first, he questions the wisdom of letting everyone know Wally's gone-- one speedster, one hero, less on the Turtle-- but he knows he owes it to all of Wally's friends to let them know. Besides, someone will find out at some point anyway.

It really, really sucks to have to do this. Especially as Dick Grayson, casual acquaintance and not Robin, best friend. But he sucks it up and keeps a light, mellow demeanor.]

I saw the kedan moving stuff out of Kid Flash's apartment earlier today. I take it that means he's gone home, so I thought I'd give his friends a heads up. I didn't know him too well, but he was a nice guy.

[With a little (unnoticeable) effort, he maintains his neutral expression and switches subjects.]

On a completely different note, has anyone been to the Emperor's library? I thought about asking if I could see it-- reading nothing but poetry is starting to get to me. I just want to know if it's worth it and if she'll ask something from me in return. I don't want to be too far into her debt if I can help it.

[But anyone going out tonight might notice Robin is being a little extra, um, assertive at crime-fighting. Punching thugs is totally a proper way to deal with your best friend suddenly disappearing. And an important, powerful relic falling into the hands of a potentially dangerous enemy.]

[On the one hand, she was glad Wally was able to get back home. He didn't deserve to be here any more than the rest of them. On the other...she would miss him. And she had a feeling a certain Boy Wonder would too.]

[Behold, Batman dropping down into an alley beside Robin after a bout of that assertive crime fighting. No words. Just a solid presence at his shoulder.

Bruce wonders if Robin even knows that his older counterpart is gone, and if now's the time to bring it up.]

It's clear he's still upset, and that's why he doesn't need to ask why Bruce is there. He already knows at least partially why he is.

He appreciates it, and even manages a (small) smile.]

Hey, Batman. I guess you saw my message.

[Bruce makes a small noise of agreement, and then gestures upward. This is a conversation for rooftops.]

I'm not sure. It seems like sometimes she doesn't ask for anything but other times she does. It might be related to how big or inconvenient the thing is that you want, but I can't say for sure.

[That looked awfully like Bat-dealing with it, and Kyle foregoes a direct reply and decides to go looking for Dick at the earliest opportunity. He didn't know this Wally, but he couldn't imagine any universe where Dick and Wally weren't close.

He descends behind Robin, not particularly inconspicuously. His tone is gentle.] Hey... you okay?

[He turns, not startled but slightly impressed that Kyle can be that quiet. Being able to fly probably helps.]

Fine. Why?

[He might be good at lying about some things, but lying about how he feels is always a little hit-or-miss. And almost always a miss if you actually know him.]

[Kyle's been travelling with Jason, he's gotten used to spotting that when he sees it.

But he won't push the issue too much. Getting involved with the Batclan is a can of worms he doesn't really want to open.]

Nothing, I just don't get why you aren't excited about your friend being gone. Do you want him to be stuck on some stupid turtle so you aren't lonely or some crap?

Cassandra is the exception. It breaks his attention for a brief moment, though the thugs are unskilled enough that it doesn't do any harm. He hits the nearest one especially hard with his eskrima.]
