[As always, Superman's post comes from an anonymous location, somewhere in the Fire sector. He's been changing the place he broadcasts from in every post, in case someone tried to track it.]

Well, it's become obvious the turtle has decided to take a bath. It seems to be safe for now but we don't know when it will stop. The way things look it isn't going to be anytime soon. The Kedan seem to be pretty sure it will be alright so it's probably not the first time this has happened.

Those of us who can breathe underwater or spend a long time under it should share experiences to see how far we can get, but I wouldn't suggest trying to break this barrier.


Another thing to keep in mind is the lack of sunlight. [AND NOT AT ALL BECAUSE HE'S GOING TO SLOWLY LOSE HIS POWERS WITHOUT IT why would you think that geez.] Is there anyone with the kind of power that would allow them to duplicate it? Or to create a substitute? I can offer my heat vision to make fires anywhere it's needed, but it's a poor substitute.

Anyway, just... be careful, everyone.

Well, that could be really useful. At least it'd let us see more clearly than any fire will.

I'd like that. Even if it's jut a tiny one, it could help- as long as it doesn't tire you out too much of course.

[She just looks a little amused.] I've been here a month, I'm not gonna fall over any time soon. Do you want to be around, or should I just try it?

I have a lot of things to do right now, plenty of people to check on just in case. How about you tell me if it works, and then we'll figure out a way to use it to get everyone light?

Alright. Give me a minute. [And true to her word, she disappears for a moment, heading outside to try this spell out. After a short wait, she returns, looking thoughtful.]

It does work, but it's only about 100 ft worth of, uh, magic sunlight. Around me.

100ft could be pretty useful, but I wouldn't want you to... well, have to stay in one place like some kind of lamp.

I guess it's not possible to enchant an object to do the job?

[magicalpadawan]

[An amused snort.] Yeah, doing an impression of the Statue of Liberty doesn't sound very much fun.

...I could try. I don't know if it'll work.

[A grin] That's what I thought.

Would you mind trying? It's alright if it doesn't work but we should have as many ways of getting light as possible.

I can try, I'll go out and see if I can find a glass ball or something. It's probably better than nothing.

Just the fact that you're willing to try is better than nothing, dear. I really appreciate your help.

If there's anything I can do to help just yell out 'Superman' and I'll hear it, but magic isn't really my expertise.
