Well, it's become obvious the turtle has decided to take a bath. It seems to be safe for now but we don't know when it will stop. The way things look it isn't going to be anytime soon. The Kedan seem to be pretty sure it will be alright so it's probably not the first time this has happened.

Those of us who can breathe underwater or spend a long time under it should share experiences to see how far we can get, but I wouldn't suggest trying to break this barrier.

Another thing to keep in mind is the lack of sunlight. [AND NOT AT ALL BECAUSE HE'S GOING TO SLOWLY LOSE HIS POWERS WITHOUT IT why would you think that geez.] Is there anyone with the kind of power that would allow them to duplicate it? Or to create a substitute? I can offer my heat vision to make fires anywhere it's needed, but it's a poor substitute.

Anyway, just... be careful, everyone.

She got irritated when I tried to ask more, ask about what kind of preparations. I just wanted to be sure nobody would end up drowning.

It's as if as long as they know we'll be safe they don't care what we go through or if we know what will happen. More than a little unnerving.

As it is we can only wait and explore.

For someone who needs our help the Emperor sure make a good job of keeping us in the dark about it. Someone made a point of asking us if we were content with just living in here and letting them take and bring whoever they wanted- I argued with them that one time, I defended our right to simply survive while we waited.

I think I wouldn't be so fast to argue now. It's been a while.

Both Evandau and Eshai told me we would be informed as necessary, but I'm not sure everyone's as necessary lines up. Survival chances are higher when you know what you're doing - and in advance, not the day of.

I just like to know things. But I've always been pretty good at finding the right questions to ask. [A tiny, confident grin. She probably could be a reporter. It's just not something she particularly wants.]

A friend of mine and her husband are getting some kind of radio show slash newspaper ready. If you ever want to earn a little more I could tell them about you.

I don't necessarily need to get paid, but I'd gladly share what I find out. [To a certain extent.] Knowledge is power, and we could all use a little more of that here.

Agreed, which is why they've decided to do this on the first place. There are some things that we can't know beforehand, like those... earthquakes? Should I still call them that?

Anyway- the point is that the more we know the more ready we'll be.

It's hard not to notice her, she's... a very strong minded woman when it comes to getting her ideas out.
