001; Audio - The one where Mike tries to make sense of this.
[Mike knows the rules, and he knows them by heart: When you're in a new place, and you aren't sure of your surroundings, you stay hidden to stay safe. Someone will come and find you. So when the kedan deliver him to his suite, Michaelangelo stays there.
It's only after he's lowered all the shades, explored the suite from top to bottom, and booby-trapped the front door with common household items, that Mike turns his attention to the communication console. Mike's access and familiarity with all things computer has been limited at best, with the bulk of his exposure coming in the form of play-testing what ever new video game Donatello had been coding. So it comes as more than a little bit of a shock to him that the console is as easy for him to work as the skim-milk blue guy with a similar number of fingers on his hands said it would be.
It doesn't matter that he's not home, or that the people who found him aren't quite human, or even that anyone who saw him on this vidscreen thing could easily just assume he was some sort of special effect added in post production.]
Um...hello? I.
I'm just looking for my brothers. There was a light from some sort of machine. They started to disappear without me. I just. I just want to find them.
Leo? Donnie? Raph? Please tell me you're out there. Please?

[voice]
You. How old are you?
[Not a sure-fire way to tell, but it's worked thus far. It's a good start.]
Re: [voice]
Who's asking?
[The smile and relief in his voice is audible.]
[voice]
I'm asking you, genius, now give me an answer before I come over there and take it right outta your mouth myself!
[voice]
[voice]
[voice]
Not at all.
Because Mike would NEVER do such a thing.
Ever.
...
Okay, maybe a little.]
Dude, don't blow a gasket, you know we're sixteen.
[voice]
Raph kind of already knew it, but know he knows it knows it.]
No we're not. You're the wrong Mikey.
[voice]
[And why does Mike suddenly feel a chill run down his spine...]
[voice]
[That was a little harsh, but it's not like Raph is known for his gentle let-downs. He might feel bad if he could see Mikey's face though.
GOOD THING HE CAN'T]
[voice]
On a better day he'd laugh them off, but today of all days...]
now come on raph...
[voice]
-rgh. I'm just saying, you're from- I dunno, a different dimension. Or something. It's weird.
[voice]
[Imagine, if you will, Mikey doing his very level best Leo impression...only, it's not an impression.
Yeah, it's kind of like that.]
[voice --> video b/c raph don't give a fuck]
Yeah, a different dimension. You saying I'm lying?
voice
...great googly moogly...
permavid
"Great googly moogly." Mikey, no.

[Don't say that.]
Do you get it now? I'm not even the same age as you.

You're eighteen.
[It's not that he doesn't believe you, Raph, it's just...no, that's exactly it.]
no subject

What?! Say it!

Get over here and say that to my face, you little punk! I'll punch your teeth so far down your throat you could chew your guts like freakin' bubble gum!
no subject
Why? Did you not hear me say it the first time? Did something happen to your baby ears?
no subject
Mikey, I swear to GOD-!
That's it.
[Raph is gonna ragequit this computer because he's COMING FOR YOU.]
