[Shelby's pretty much gotten the hang of this communication thing. She watched carefully when that kedan had shown her what to do, and she's been watching Garrett from the background. Whose terminal she is using now. She's just not the best at communicating or people skills, so she pretty much just stares at the screen for a few minutes, as if she's unsure of what to do or say now that she's set it up. Enjoy having someone stare intently at you, everyone, and be glad that it's not in person ~~for now~~.

After another moment, she finally speaks. Her voice is soft and low.] My name is Shelby Rook. I'm looking for a dragon. He's about the size of a pony, dark red in color, breathes fire. I have found the other person the dragon was with, so I can only assume he might be here as well. He answers to Bubbles. [A pause, and then a slight smile.] Try to not run from him; he is still a deadly predator, regardless of size. [And it'd suck if people started going after her dragon for such a silly thing like him eating them or something.]

[She leans back somewhat, head tilting.] I have been told we are to work here. I... have a varying set of skills, including some medical training. [And other things. You want a bitch killed? She'll kill a bitch. She likes killing bitches.] Thank you.

How much medical training, if I might ask?

[ Doesn't occur to her that simply asking about it out of the blue might not be the best way to go about this. ]

Not enough to be called a healer, but I know how to treat wounds and create poultices. [It's not much, but hey.] I could always be shown more, if it's required of me.

[ Because clinics shouldn't be run by a business when there's other options. ]

They are owned by Wayne Enterprises. And while I do not doubt Mr. Wayne has the best intentions at heart, I believe that medical care is best provided by those with some experience in it rather than as a business venture.

He is hiring those who do not have experiencing in healing?

I would not think even he would be so foolish. [ A beat. ] No. But he himself has no noticeable experience, and when doctors and surgeons must answer to someone who would put business over medicine something must give. Experience tells me it is never those who control the hospital or clinic.

[ Considering she got fired for saving a patient's life. ]

[She nods slowly. Not that she has experience in that particular field, but it's a sound argument.] Then I would have to agree with this sentiment. Money has always taken precedence in most instances, I have noticed.

[ An agreeing nod. ]

As have I. And I do not think we can be afforded that luxury here, not currently.

I suppose with the circumstances being that we are trapped together, it would make sense to put more stock in care than in monetary value. [An odd concept. She's never had a reason to care, but she supposes, for Garrett...]

Exactly. [ A pause. ] As I stated earlier, if you're willing, I can teach you more than the very basic of medical skills. Whether you choose to apply that in my employ or simply wish to know is up to you.

I would be willing to learn, then. And I would be willing to work in your clinic. [She likes the cut of her jib.]

Come to EA-3B then, Shelby, whenever you have the time. If I am not there, my co-worker - Kyle Rayner - will be.

[ And while her expression is still focused and almost inexpressive, her tone is pleased. ]
