So, um. Some of you know I - went to the mines. In the mountains. Got back yesterday.

Didn't...find much. Carts, that they used. [The smile fades.] And...bodies. That were just...left there. [She'd considered bringing them back, even if she had to do it one at a time, but she didn't know if that would be...disrespectful.]

Looked like - they fell, usually. Didn't see any, um. Foul play.

[A beat.]

We need to learn a lot more about them, if we're gonna stay here. [She almost feels silly for saying something obvious, but her standard speeches are a kind of comfort right now. She may work with SHIELD, but her actual field work has been relatively limited and she's not used to the idea of bodies just being left around.]

I think we should -- well, okay, I'm not sure. But we shouldn't just leave them there.
