[It's pretty early in the morning when Finnick shows up on the feed, looking a little bit like crap. Like he hasn't slept all night. Which, well. He really hasn't. Nightmares and everything. He scrubs a hand over his face before smiling for the feed.]

I'm starting to wonder what else could go wrong in this place. First, they're making copies of us [not that he can really blame them for wanting more of him around, come on now] and now things are going sour on the turtle. [A wry smile twists his lips now.] And they say to not panic while pushing us to our limits already. [He runs a hand through his hair.] They could probably give the Capitol a run for their money at this point.

[He goes to shut off the feed, muttering:] I'd kill for seaweed bread right now, though. [:'|]

I don't even know. [He lifts his arm up to check his armpit.] All the rocks here are starting to crack and get nasty, so... It might be only a matter of time? [He's taking more baths than he has in his entire life probably now though.]

Uh huh... Do you know how to make that stuff? You'll feel better if you eat better, and I can give you the extra ingredients you need. [See? He worries!]

I wonder if that means the people who are dependent on water will end up catching sick in the same way. [A pause.] Assuming that you're actually in danger of the mold. Just don't... touch it.

[Aw, Santo. Finnick pauses before he smiles.] I eat fine. Don't nag me like a wife. Besides, won't you need the ingredients? [Do rock men eat????]

You know how to do basic water filtration and stuff right? It's probably a good ides to boil any before you drink it. [Santo does know a few things.] I don't have any yet, and at least my rocks are still my original ones from home. They're not the same as the Earth Districts, but I don't think mold can tell the difference.

And I am not a wife! I'm just being protective. You know, like a manly husband. [Totally makes things better, right?] And I don't eat much. [Which is a complete lie, but he doesn't have to eat a lot.] You want your bread, I have flour and junk. Problem solved.

I do. [He gives a wry smirk.] Maybe I can teach that to the people in the community center. Everyone should have basic survival skills anyway. [Okay, Santo. He just has to know.] So you can collect other rocks on your body? Maybe it'd be best if you left your suite until this mess is fixed.

[He laughs. Loudly.] Are you saying that I'm the beautiful wife? [Totally, man.] No, I can't do that. You keep it. Besides, the selfless look is in season, and I think I could work with that a little bit.

I don't know if it's set in stone [heh] or anything, but I think Victor and I might stay in the water district for a while... Not that it's in any better condition, but at least our home won't collapse and crush him. I'll be fine just because, you know... I'm made of rocks and stuff, and if I lose an arm or blow up or anything, I can just use the rocks and earth around me to build a new body.

[And because he's sure that Finnick will get that...] My body isn't real.

[He smirks just a little.] I never said that, but if you're going to be my wife, you gotta be beautiful.

None of the sectors seem to be in any good condition. [A pause.] I'm glad you and Victor have found a place, though. [Despite his mixed feelings over Victor still ;A;]

It's not real? [Honestly, Finnick hasn't tried to figure out how Santo exists before. It's always just been easier to think it was cosmetics or something, because his brain can only take so much.]

I've got the beautiful part down, at least. You won't have to worry about that, dearest doting husband.

Well... I mean... It's real as in you can touch it and stuff, and I'd totally feel it. My body is just a bunch of rocks though. If you break off a piece, it'd just be plain ordinary stone. I don't actually... need the body to survive or something... I think.

Anyway, your husband is kind of a badass, right?

[Just. Staring.] What would happen to you if you had no body, though?

[A smirk.] Incredibly manly. I might have to start swooning here soon.

Nothing, I guess. I can still see and hear everything around me, but I can't talk or move or interact with anyone without a body to do it. I don't have a clue what would happen if I don't make a new one for too long, though. [Is he scaring the bejeebus out of you yet?]

[He smirks a little as well, though.] You know I can never say no to a good swooning from a beauty like you.

[Yes, actually. He manages to suppress a shiver though.] Why don't we not find out what happens, then? I think that would be the best course of action here. [A pause.] Unless you start molding.

[Placing a hand to his forehead now, slumping back in the chair.] Whatever you wish, Santo.

I definitely wasn't planning on trying it out, bro. I'm too loud to be a ghost.

[He smiles just a little.] You think I should model? I mean, I wouldn't want to make you jealous when other people start adoring me too.

You'd scare plenty of people, though.

[He looks Santo over with a serious expression.] I think I have enough ego to share my adoring masses with you.

Yeah, but only if I can talk and jump out of snowmen and stuff.

[He pulls back a little. That's too convincing, Finnick.] Really? You'd be so generous to send one or two fans my way?

I'm sure you'd find a way to make it work.

Of course I would. [It's not like he actually cares about them, oops.]

I'm pretty sure you don't want me to haunt you, dude. [And because he doesn't know how you could be bored with adoring fans.] Even though I think I love you now.

Oh, I didn't say haunt me. There are plenty of people in this city. [He chuckles.] You're not the first to say so.

Yeah, but you're one of my favorites. Besides, If I tried to haunt Vic or Ava or someone else, they'd probably try to exorcise me. [That's a serious problem, okay?] Maybe I'm not, but I'm at least the coolest, right?

I wouldn't even know where to begin on trying to get rid of you. [What are real ghosts and exorcisms anyway.] You're the manliest.

[Annie's the coolest, okay.]

Let's be honest, you wouldn't want to get rid of me. I'd totally enrich your life with sage wisdom and badassery.

[Okay, he knows he can't compete with Annie, after all Finnick has told him about her.] Hey, I'll take manliest. That totally counts for something, right?
