[It's EASTER!

If you don't believe in the Easter Bunny still, then this post is going to be very boring for you. You'll just be seeing a bunch of happy kedan children hanging around the monitor.

For the rest of you, though, Aster is looking proud as can be, despite still appearing a bit tired and disheveled from all the work he's been doing trying to stave off the decay in the Wood Sector. He always makes time for Easter, so that only added to his workload, but it was a good kind of stress.]

It's strange to be celebrating Easter again when it was only a few weeks ago for me, and this isn't much of a second go, but I'm not about to pass up the chance to make up for the last one.

[He puffs up his chest a little.]

Besides, a place like this could use some new beginnings right now... And a little hope.

So, enjoy the baskets and the chocolate, and I'm going to be giving my all to keep the Wood Sector green today. For this one day at least, spring will have sprung. And if the Emperor or whoever else gives you trouble for having more food than you're supposed to, you send them to me. This place can have the entire year, but Easter is still my day.

[OOC: Bunny has been working hard the past few days, and this morning before the sun rose, he delivered an Easter basket to every kedan child and every foreigner, child and adult, in the city. The baskets aren't that grand, but he put a little green ans some flowers with each of them, and inside there are a few colored eggs and one chocolate bunny. Enjoy!

This post is good for action spam too! If your character wants to find him hanging out with the kedan children all day, or if you have a night owl that would run into him while he was delivering his precious googies around the turtle!]

[Victor's examining the basket that was left for him when he turns on the video.]

I'm guessing you left this? [He smiles.] Thanks. You're definitely right that this place could use some hope.

It's just a little something for the occasion, mate. I would have done more, like hiding eggs around town, but with the rationing going on, I don't want to be accused of being "wasteful". [He grins.] That's what I'm here for, I suppose.

Considering the rationing, this is great.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say you're the Easter Bunny? I'm Victor.

The one and only, but you can just call me Bunny. Or Aster, if you prefer.

[He nods.] It's the least that I can do right now. I could have had more eggs than you'd ever seen here, but with everything dying right now, I can't manage too many different plants at once. I'm not going to let anybody starve, though.

[ Jack looks as excited as any of the kids to have found his basket this morning! ]

These are great, Bunny!

Well it's nice meeting you, Bunny. So we've got the Easter Bunny and Jack Frost. I have to wonder if Santa Claus or the Tooth Fairy will be showing up next. Or maybe Mother Nature.

You have some kind of plant control powers?

[Sorry Bunny, Arthur doesn't actually care about surface holidays. He'll believe that you exist because he's met Poseidon, but Atlanteans don't really celebrate Easter. No, he's much more interested in something else.]

So you know what the date is here?

I wouldn't be surprised if they did, mate. I don't know why you'd want a blowhard like North around, though.

[He smiles a little more, pointing the camera down to the table, and with a quick circle of his finger along the wood, a tulip springs forth seemingly out of nowhere.] Easter is the herald of spring. What good would I be if I had to work through dreary and freezing snow?

[And that excitement on all of their faces, even Jack's, made this worth the risk.]

They always are, Frostbite. I've only been doing this for centuries. [Preen.]

I have a little extra for you, actually, but you'll have to come over to get it. [He smiles.] Couldn't fit it all in the basket.

[You best be enjoying his gift at the very least! He doesn't make chocolate for people every day.]

Not precisely. I just know that today is Easter Sunday. It's kind of like a sixth sense.

[It's probably still sitting out there, whoops. He doesn't really care for sweets. Comes from living in saltwater.]

When is that, usually? In March?

[Rude.]

Late March to April, depending on the year.

North? [He has no idea who that is.] Well, if they're anything like you and Jack, I don't mind them showing up.

[Victor watches curiously. When the tulip blooms, he jumps.] Whoa. That's pretty awesome. And rabbits can do pretty well in the snow actually. A lot better than lizards anyway.

Santa Claus. [He can't help rolling his eyes a little.] He's a good man, but arrogant. [Like he's one to talk, really.]

Oh yeah? Tell that to my big bare feet.

Santa Claus is named North? [He blinks a few times at that.] Alright I guess.

I'd rather talk to your face than your feet. The conversation's better. [He smiles.] Okay, only some kinds of rabbits do well in the snow.

Nicholas St. North is his real name, ya gumby.

[He smiles, though.] I'm the kind of rabbit that likes sunshine and green things.

Gumby? I'm not made of clay. [He only knows it because he'd been called it a few times back home.]

Those are two things I'm a fan of as well.

Is that a classy way of saying you're old, Cottontail?

[ But the just is light, and he's practically bouncing in his seat already ~~he may have had a few of the chocolates~~. ]

Really? Okay, I'll be there soon!

[Toro has seen some many strange things in his life. Many of them caused by science, but just as many caused by the supernatural. Enough that a huge Bunny is a surprise, but not that big of one. He's more surprised to hear him talk about Easter that way. He had found the baskets on their step this morning--Bucky had wanted to get rid of them because he swore they were traps or something else ridiculous like that--but now he's seeing the guy who put them there and all he can say is]

Flaming balls, you're the Easter Bunny.

[He's king of the seas okay. Respect his culture.]

...I see. Thank you, then. [Well, damn... He doesn't seem too happy that it's late March to April.]

Oh, har har. Time to brush up on your slang, kid. [He's not going to tell you, though.]

Well, I would have to assume so, judging by your skin. What's up with that, by the way?

The one and only, at your service. [He gives a little salute, though he can't say he's had a reaction like that in a while.]

[He will not check his pooka privilege]

Is that a problem, mate?

You, of all people, are calling me old now, Snowflake? I don't admit to that at all.

[He can't help being in a good mood today of all days, even when he's going light on the festivities.]

The window will be open... For once.

No? My mistake then~

[ The winter teen is glad to see his improved mood, particularly after how worn Bunny had started looking while keeping up the Wood Sector. So he'll zip through the air eagerly, even tapping politely on the window glass before letting himself in. ]
