001 - Video
[She's been here quite a few hours now, and has had time to laugh off just about everything she's been told, although she's not trying to mock or anything. She's just not entirely sold on any of this, and isn't sure what to make out of it. So it's time to just roll with the punches and take things one hour at a time, to meet new people and maybe get in a few laughs.
Currently, she's writing down a list of things that she eventually turns and holds out to be seen. There's only a few words written down, and one is lightly crossed out
Slitheen
Dalek
Satan
She says both of the non-marked through words as she points to them, and then glances back at her audience with eyebrows arched.]
Anyone here heard of 'em before?
[Yeah, they're all on her list of potential beings that could have gotten her off course, but really she's just hoping to find someone out there that has a common thread they can talk about. She isn't sure that any of the natives know what she's talking about though, and who knows about the rest of them. The list is set aside carefully, and she spends a moment staring over at it. She sighs then, and leans in. She's much more serious now, and looks entirely lost.]
Sorry. Don't really have a knack for using these things yet. Thing is, I'm looking for someone, thought that maybe he might be here? Goes by the Doctor, always going on 'bout things nobody understands? But I do, most of the time anyway, and -
[Nope, keep those emotions in Rose. Keep 'em in. A hand goes up to her mouth, her fingers curling up against her lips as she becomes increasingly more worked up over all this. Everything's hitting her all at once.]
I've gotta find him, if he's here. He's hopeless when he's out there all on his own.

Heard of that last crossed out one. I don't think we have to worry about a fairy tale being responsible for bringing us here. [ Because even if he can admit belief in something that people call magic, that's pushing the line really far. ]

No, really. He's not a fairy tale, or just mythology, or any of that. I didn't wanna believe it either, but it's true. Out there somewhere in the universe, where nobody ever thought t'look, there was the devil.

Ooo-kay. So the devil's somewhere in outer space. Sure it's not something like a Lord of Chaos trying to trick you? [ Cause when he thinks about Klarion, he thinks that kid'd be a dead ringer for a demon or something. ]

But whatever a Lord of Chaos is, you'll believe in that but not the devil?
[She's teasing him. Mostly. She's going to try to hide her amusement by biting down on her lip.]

Well- I've seen a Lord of Chaos with my own eyes, and whatever they are, they're capable of causing some real damage.
[ He takes a small breath. ] I mean- I'm not saying there's not some really big and nasty things out there, but I think they like pulling tricks a lot and hiding what they really are. You see it all the time in movies. [ And what are bad guys if not theatrical? ]

[She leans in a little closer to the camera, allowing her grin to finally show.]
Even awful big and nasty things from movies that you only see late at night on the telly. You think any of 'em might be hiding somewhere 'round here?

He snorts at that question, though. ]
Who knows? From what I hear, a lot of us are all from different universes. Maybe we're not the only things that got dragged out of 'em. And my friends told me there as an issue with zombies a few months back.

[She mock pouts, laughing. By now she's grabbed hold of her paper and is busy drawing something. It takes her about a minute, with almost half of that spent in concentrated silence. The tip of her tongue sticks out from between her teeth as she finishes off the image, and then she holds it up for him to see.
And it is pretty much like this except not as good.]
Dalek. Think little one eyed aliens in suits of armor. Thing is, they look ridiculous, but they're one of the most dangerous things in the entire universe. And don't laugh, I'm not an artist! Not much of one, anyway.
[Because he will obviously be laughing at the drawings and not the words coming out of her mouth.]

Wouldn't surprise me if those things're dangerous - there's this maniac back home, we call him The Brain. He's, well, a human brain in this robotic shell. [ Wally shudders. ]
Dude tried vivisecting one of my teammates.

What kind've team are you on, to take on things like that?

We deal with things that normal people can't. Think mad geniuses trying to melt the polar ice caps and flood the earth, that kind of deal.

[A pause, and she laughs.]
Super activists, anyway. Or are you one of those super heroes I've met a couple of today?
