I understand that we are temporally isolated as well as spatially displaced and that this is not a subdivision of any one possible multiverse, neither a pocket dimension of any one universe, but a unique quantum singularity linking many and each possible variation thereof. If others here have scientific findings of this nature, I pre-emptively extend my gratitude in the event of any information being divulged.

The arrivals are starting back up, I see. [She'd been curious as to whether or not they'd come back with how long they went without anyone new coming in.]

So you're a friend of our resident charming captain. [Said with a slight lace of playful sarcasm. It's definitely not malicious.] I'm not sure about this being a pocket dimension, or some single universe. All I know for certain is we're somewhere between "dreaming, death, and life".

This is not a pocket dimension. For it to qualify under such a distinction, there would only be natives of one world. Pocket dimensions do not exist between multiple universes but within the bounds of the singular, hence I believe this to be a nexus capable of direct contact with each respective world represented here in the suspension of space-time.

[ Ah, science. At least that still makes sense. ]

"Dreaming, death and life" may mean unconsciousness, mere dreams — or rather, nightmares. It could imply we are near to expiring in our reality, locked inside our minds. There is no way of knowing. I find further speculation a moot point at this juncture and will attempt to gather clearer data before postulating a final theory.

[ He nods curtly, not impolite but efficient with a hint of subsumed humor as he adds, ]

I'm pretty sure that's what it means, that's at least the most I've been able to gather. No other reason for saying that, aside from being cryptic and annoying. [Which is highly possible.]
