Hey I... know everyone's busy with, uh, getting things back together after last week but-- does anyone know a good way to tell dreams from memories if you... don't remember whether it happened or not?

[Arthur has to consider that for a long time - he's usually pretty concerned with discerning dream from reality, but when it comes to memory? It gets a lot more complicated. Especially since performing inception.]

Is it really important that you know whether something you remember actually happened or if you just dreamt it? Especially in a place like this.

I don't know about you, but most of my dreams involve sexy supermodels in teeny bikinis. So... The memories are usually the ones that don't have that- I mean, have it in less quantity.

So it's pretty easy.

There's usually something about dreams [nightmares] that isn't quite realistic. At least for me.

I think the problem is that my "realistic" doesn't really match a lot of other people's.

Just... a lot of dreams lately.

It's tough, [he says right away.] I know some methods, but they involve a lot of... meditation, and lucid dreaming. I've never been that great at it.

There's a bunch of people here interested in lucid dreaming. I'm not sure how great I'd be at meditation though, it's usually hard for me to sit still.

Sometimes it's hard to tell the difference, but there's always something a bit off, or...out of sorts. They just don't feel as real, no matter how much you want them to.

Is this about something you wanna have be real memories, though?

I don't remember a lot of things, it's the stuff I am dreaming -- or remembering -- that I'm worried about.

Most of the time? It's up to your gut instincts, and hoping some demon didn't enter your head at night and mess up your nightmares on purpose to give you a scare.

Usually, the universe finds ways to tell you. [ it's an issue he can relate to after being bathed in the River Lethe by his father, so that his memories of his mother and a time before being stuck in a time loop are basically wiped clean. what he knows, he had to learn. ] Is there a way for you to remember?

In my dreams, I'm usually doing something impossible, like squashing people like bugs, or flying. But that doesn't seem to be applicable with you.
