[The face that appears in the video feed is young with golden eyes and doesn’t seem to be aware that her console is broadcasting video. She actually looks a little confused as her brow crinkles as she tries to remember what the kedan said about using the console. For those actually paying close attention there’s a hint of concern in her gaze. ]
Oh…
[There’s a slight shuffle as she props her chin in one hand and leans on her elbow, her other arm crossed over her chest.]
Hello. [Another pause and her lips purse for a moment. This is almost as weird as sending an Iris Message honestly.] My name is Hazel Levesque. I was curious if anyone might be willing to give me another quick tutorial on how to use this console. They went through it really fast.
[She falls silent again, as she tries to figure out if she should ask about her friends.]
I’m looking for my friends if they’re here. [The way she says it makes it clear that she’s torn about whether or not she really wants to know if her friends are or aren’t in Tu Vishan, but she covers it up by moving on to the next matter of business and making her voice shift to a more chipper tone. The image however, continues to hold a certain amount of concern and the crinkle between her brows still hasn’t gone away although it isn’t so much confusion anymore as it is worry about what could be happening at home without her.]
And maybe a job, as I’ve been told I will need to find one in order to be a productive member of the community. I’m good with horses and art. I hope those are useful to someone here, but I won’t mind jobs like cleaning or organizing either, they were regulars on the duty roster back home.

Sliding into the chair she starts over hitting buttons and clicking on options as she goes. Eventually she reaches the screen she saw earlier.] I think this is the audio post option, it seemed to work that way before.

[Creating a shortcut: still inside his possibilities, yay.]
action;
Thank you, because that was a ridiculous number of buttons to press.
Re: action;
You're doing great for someone who barely ever touched a computer before, trust me. And face to face interactions are better most of the time. I'll put a shortcut for the most useful things... then there's the encryption but that's more advanced. It's better if [Leo] someone better at technology teaches you.

Re: action;
[He smiles (and blushes, as hard as he tries not to) as he wraps his fingers around her little hand. Her skin is so soft, he'd really missed it.]
I personally dont use it much. You can be as careful as you want but if there's people like Leo... well, it's a risk that someone might be listening.
Face-to-face is safer.
action;
You know I'm always careful. I'll watch what I say on there all the same.

It's not just other people, so far they have been really nice to me- to us, actually. But there's also the ones who aren't foreigners, the emperor and such... we never know what they want, so it's better to be safe.
action;
Guess I'll just keep doing what I'm doing in that case.
action;
But most people are actually really nice, I've gotten a pretty warm welcome.
Re: action;
[She shrugs, because she didn't really expect something extremely better. She didn't really have expectations at all.] Mostly I've heard from everyone we know. From what I've been told that doesn't seem so weird though.
