[charmspeaks]

[There’s a beautiful, dark skinned girl with choppy hair looking at ease with the console as she turns the video feed on. She actually looks pretty calm, other than the nervous movement of her hands, as if she doesn’t know what to do with them, and the way she keeps looking around her, as if she can’t believe where she is. After a second, she gives a hesitant smile.] It’s kind of nice to use one of these and not worry about any of the problems that come with it. [Problems being that technology and demigods don’t exactly mix, you know.]

I was wondering if anyone could fill me on the situation? I couldn’t get any answers from the guys who brought me to this suite, which is really nice, by the way. [She sounds a little put out by that, the fact that she couldn’t get answers.] My name is Piper. [No last name, in case people here know her dad, and then she has to go through that awkward explanation phase that, yes, her dad was that hot guy in those movies.]

I’m also looking for my friends. Particularly a guy named Jason. Blond, really good looking, he likes to follow rules. [A grin now.] Although, I guess if any of them are here, they’ll find me this way.

[:|a] Who do I give these meat rations to? [Look, a lot of crap is hitting her in the face right about now, and that meat is just the icing on the crap cake.]

[iguanasolution]

[Oh man he totally forgot about that, he looks a little sheepish] Uhm, I guess you could share it? With us I mean- I don't mind my vegetable rations with you at all.

[charmspeaks]

[A grin.] Good idea. [She pauses for a moment.] I have the cornucopia with me, too. If we ever... need anything. [Except it might not work if there's no magic, now that she thinks about it.]

[iguanasolution]

[And of course that's exactly the first thing Frank wonders.] Does it work in here though? I mean, right now our powers aren't exactly...

[He shrugs] yeah.

[charmspeaks]

I haven't tried it out yet. [She glances off to the side, where the cornucopia is waiting, almost staring at her.] It couldn't hurt to test it out later.

[iguanasolution]

Yeah, I mean I still test my powers every day in case they come back. I know it's silly but... [He shrugs] One never knows, and one day the turtle has to start getting better right?

If it does work or we manage to make it work later it could solve a lot of things though.

[charmspeaks]

It's not silly, Frank. Not having them feels so wrong. [She nods.] We'll figure out a way to help him. Like we have any choice. I think Percy's made it a personal thing.

Yeah, it'd come in handy.

[iguanasolution]

[A little laugh] He is, but I can hardly blame him. Apparently they... they had some kind of dream?

I don't know the details but they got to meet Mr Turtle in person.

[charmspeaks]

Like some kind of dream visit? [She's had those before, with her mom.] I guess it gets kind of personal when you're face to face with them like that. [And also it's Percy. She might not have known him for long, but he's not that hard to figure out.]

[iguanasolution]

I think so, yeah. Maybe if we stay in here for long enough we will get a visit? I'd like to meet a giant turtle as well.

[charmspeaks]

Yeah, I think that's the kind of thing everyone should go through at least once.

[iguanasolution]

[He chuckles] I heard it really lightens up your life. Really though, it's the turtle we're living on top on... wouldn't it be interesting?

[charmspeaks]

I think so. It makes me think about the dreams we get from the gods, though.

[iguanasolution]

...Yeah, I guess. Those must be nice. [Mars isn't really keen on visiting his children, how rude.]

[charmspeaks]

[She makes a face.] Not really. You don't have Aphrodite for a mom.
