[There’s a beautiful, dark skinned girl with choppy hair looking at ease with the console as she turns the video feed on. She actually looks pretty calm, other than the nervous movement of her hands, as if she doesn’t know what to do with them, and the way she keeps looking around her, as if she can’t believe where she is. After a second, she gives a hesitant smile.] It’s kind of nice to use one of these and not worry about any of the problems that come with it. [Problems being that technology and demigods don’t exactly mix, you know.]

I was wondering if anyone could fill me on the situation? I couldn’t get any answers from the guys who brought me to this suite, which is really nice, by the way. [She sounds a little put out by that, the fact that she couldn’t get answers.] My name is Piper. [No last name, in case people here know her dad, and then she has to go through that awkward explanation phase that, yes, her dad was that hot guy in those movies.]

I’m also looking for my friends. Particularly a guy named Jason. Blond, really good looking, he likes to follow rules. [A grin now.] Although, I guess if any of them are here, they’ll find me this way.

Very funny, Percy. [In three... two... one. Her eyes widen slightly, and Piper snaps to attention, a look of both surprise and just extreme happiness taking over her face. Because dude] Percy!

[Waving a hand and giving an awkward sort of wave] I'm gonna guess the last time you saw me involved a lot of really unfortunate Ferraris. [Because that's easier to say than Tartarus]

[Despite, you know, all of the circumstances ever, when Annabeth sees Piper over the consoles, she's glad. Because it's been almost a year since she's seen Piper now, and she's missed the other girl, a lot.]

[Even though all seven of them being here should be a warning, even though things are looking bad on the turtle front, even if Tartarus is bound to loom up eventually, her smile is bright in the feed when she replies.] Hey there stranger. I've got plenty of answers, if you still want them.

[If Piper thought her crying would be more useful than anything else right now, she'd probably do it. As nice as it is to see Percy - she does really like the guy - it's seeing Annabeth that really does it for her. She takes a deep breath, grinning at her friend.

Thank the gods.] It's so good to see you. Are you okay?

[Oh no oh no, she can see in Piper's face, that temptation of crying, the way she holds back and everything else, and then the relief and the grinning crops up instead, and Annabeth is relieved herself.]

[Her smile dampens slightly over it all, but it's still there, because she's still happy.] You, too. You have no idea. [She pauses.] I'm fine, though. Probably a lot more fine at the moment than any of the rest of us here, to be honest. [Of the demigods, at least. Because powers disappearing!!]

[Frank might not have known the Greek demigods for long, but he's still extremely relieved to see her face again.] Oh man, you probably would rather not hear this and be home instead but I'm so glad you're here. Jason must have missed you like crazy.

[charmspeaks]

Frank!

[She's relieved to see his face, too, Piper finds. She's glad they're all here, together, even if that's probably not much of a good thing.] I don't know, things aren't exactly looking up back home. [Annabeth and Percy are here, she likes that much better than moping around on the Argo II.] You think so?

[iguanasolution]

Yeah, I'm sure. You and Hazel were the first thing we talked about when I got here.

[The mention of 'moping around' reminds him of something...] What's the last thing you remember?

[charmspeaks]

[A bright smile.] Hey, Hazel. Are you okay?

Yeah. What about you? [she doubts that Piper is injured or anything like because she wasn't but asking because who knows. but really she's just glad to see piper]

_{( Okay so it doesn't take very long for this demigod to hear that voice and see that face and be properly ecstatic. He barely lets her finish before he's kind of yelling at the console-- )} Piper!

<sub>( And then he kind of purses his lips for a second because did she just call him good-looking over the entire network that's kind of embarrassing but he's just really glad to see her so he can't be worried about that right now!

A little calmer, but no less rushed and insistent, he continues: )</sub> Where are you? I mean, did they tell you which sector you're in? I'll come find you.

[charmspeaks]

[She's been separated from him for all of a few hours - at least, that's how long it's been for her - but that really has felt like an eternity. And before it was even confirmed that he was here too, Piper wasn't sure she'd even find him, but there's Jason.

There's Jason, and he's here, and he's calling her.] Jason! [That is legitimate excitement in her voice right there.]

Earth, I'm in Earth. [Wait, she has a room number. What is it? She holds up a finger.] Give me one second to see what the suite number is. [And then she's gone, sprinting to the door to check the numbers. And recheck, just in case, before returning.] EA-3B.

[Total stranger coming through. Kirei's wearing a priest outfit, or at least a makeshift version thereof. He's smiling a bit as he speaks.]

It seems you've caused quite a stir. [Almost a laugh. It must be nice, being popular.] Nevertheless, if you have any other questions, I'd be glad to help in whatever way I can. [He bows his head slightly.]

[Honestly, it's good to see an unfamiliar face. Not that she doesn't love her friends or anything, but Piper's been getting creepy vibes from the fact that all of the demigods of prophecy are here. So seeing someone else? That's good.]

Who knew I would be so popular. [Not her, actually. She flashes a smile.] Have you been here long?

[ Rachel knows right away that Piper's from a different point in time than she is, she's.. different from the Piper she just met. different in that she's much more confident in herself, it's coming off of her in waves. not literally, she doesn't feel like she's being charmed at least, but- different. plus, she's asking about Jason like she isn't worried he'll get all his memories back and leave her behind. maybe things work out for them in the future, which is nice. even if it makes her feel itchy that she doesn't know it for herself yet. hm.

still, she's all smiles when the video feed clicks on ]

Hey. Now I'm wondering how many blonde guys will jump at the chance to reply to this and try to claim that they're the Jason you must be talking about. [ but, she also sees that Jason already reached her, so she'll drop the joke quick ] I'm guessing things worked out alright between you two? [ hinting is easier than saying 'I'm an oracle from the past', yeah ]

[Wow, Percy was seriously not kidding when he said how many of them were here. Seeing Rachel is comforting, though. Like a piece of camp could be here with them, something so completely normal. Which is kind of funny to think, considering none of them are normal.]

I'd give them a thumbs up for trying, but there's only one real Jason for me. [uguu.] Oh, yeah. We've been dating for... Wow, more than half a year now. [There's a huge grin on her face. Also, this is weird. Good weird. Normal girl talk. Wait. She doesn't even know how that works.] How... Far back are you?
