002 ☆☆☆ [Video]

[The video is coming from a console cafe in the Wood Sector, as is per usual with Bucky, who never posts from where he actually lives, and he's looking... well, a bit worse for the wear. He's pretty banged up, like he's gone several rounds in the boxing ring. Several small cuts are covered with band-aids, and his wrist is visible, clumsily self-set and wrapped up. Other than that, it's hard to see the actual extent of his injuries, as most of the bruising is under his shirt (the plain white t-shirt with his regular Army uniform, he's not in costume).]

So, powers are coming back, hurray for us. Now, turtle, let's play a game of 'recommend Bucky a good doctor because holy smokes, his ribs sure do hurt'. Feel like I went ten rounds with Master Man. [He starts to laugh, but it just turns into a grimace and a subtly mouthed 'ow', curling an arm protectively over said ribs.] No housecalls, I come to you.

[He takes a deep breath through his nose and fixes the slight, patented Bucky smile back on his face, shoving the pain his broken ribs aside for the moment (it's not the first time this has happened).] That said, people I know, lemme know how you're doin'. And folks I don't know, feel free to check in too for my curiosity's sake.

By the way, how'd all those investigations go? Did anyone find anything interesting they wanna share with the class? [Can't hurt, he figures. Worst case scenario is no one tells him anything.]

Walking would be fine, but I imagine the bruising is, pardon the pun, a pain to deal with. Figured you'd appreciate the shortcut.

[That makes him laugh-ow. Haha, puns.] Hah, you'd be right there. I've been worse, I've been better. Think I might'a broken a couple of ribs though.

Oh boy. [Well, okay then-- broken ribs are no fun so.] Let's see what I can do. Ready?

Yeah, abracadabra me. [Or whatever it is magic people do? He has no idea. At this point whatever it is, he'll take it though.]

[Because this mun is too lazy to find the magic words for this, she will just say some incantation and go for the healing. Since magic technically isn't at full strength yet, she might not be able to get rid of the soreness, but anything broken will more likely than not get fixed.]

[Oh. Oh that feels weird, bone knitting back together in his chest, and he can't quite suppress a shudder, though he does feel better when it fades. The soreness isn't gone, the bruises not fully gone, but it hurts less to breathe and feels like it set cleanly to heal up, and that's a lot better than he was.]

Wow, geez. That was... You're good at that.

I try my best. [Though she may be very pleased at the compliment.]

So, feeling better? I couldn't get rid of everything, so I figured I should just focus on the worst ones.

Yeah, actually. Helluva a lot better. [He's a little surprised, but pleased, tracing a finger down his ribs to check how they healed. Pretty nicely, he decides.] I've had a lot worse than this, just fixin' the breaks was great.

No problem, but you better make sure to rest up. It's not perfect, but I think the rest would heal itself.

I got too much stuff to do today, I'll rest it eventually. Gone longer with worse than this. [He makes a vague hand gesture.]
