So... this is a place between life, death, and dreaming, huh? Well, I guess I've heard of weirder things happening.

[ there's some shifting and fiddling before kara continues. randomly introducing herself to a network like this is a little awkward. ]

At least I've got some experience with the being trapped away from home thing. Alternate realities can be a huge pain in the ass like that. [ p...ause... ] In any case, is there anyone on this network that knows of a city called Metropolis? I figure if I'm going to be stuck here, I might as well see if there's anyone at least a little familiar around.

[Kon's a little confused, because the uniform suggests a Super, but he knew a Supergirl...and she didn't know his name?

Rob used to be here and he told me. Stupidest uniform in the history of uniforms. Though Wonder Girls right now in my time is pretty bad too.

[He hasn't really had an actual family that he can say he's actually related to in some way. Rex and Roxy didn't count in the same way.]

Well, I wasn't. I was about eleven when it happened. So imagine my surprise when I get to Earth, a strange, overwhelming planet that I know nothing about—and it doesn't help that I landed in Gotham of all places—and my baby cousin isn't such a baby anymore. In fact, he's a good deal older than me and had a serious overprotective streak.

Wait so...you're saying you're his...older cousin but you're younger?

And ouch, total bummer on the Gotham thing.

And Gotham isn't completely horrible... Sort of...

Completely. I thought 'Hey I'm a clone of Superman and when he was dead I fought three other dudes for attention and recognition of being the S-Man.' was bad.

If there's anything I've learned while I've been on Earth, it's that someone out there always has a weirder story than you.

Well... I have friends in Gotham. Which makes me think of the city fondly even if it's really not great.

Sort of just learned to accept that not so long ago/ Not as selfish as I used to be.

[Gives a small shrug.]

Ugh, right I got one person I really know in Gotham and...I still don't think of it like that.

Maybe I'm just weird.
