It took her several practice runs to ensure that she was working the machine correctly; of course she wouldn't risk talking to anypony else until she had. Now, though, she is the picture of cool, calm royalty. In other words, she's doing the Celestia.]

Good evening to all. I am Luna, Princess of Equestria and the Moon, bringer of night and keeper of dreams. I know not by what power or authority this Emperor hath brought us hither, but I care not. I shall return to my people, and I swear that I shall see all of thee returned to thine. Now, I pray that thou wilt be willing to share whatever information thou hast gathered about our plight? [She glances off-screen, eyes narrowed.] Perhaps beginning with why my rooms are infested with these small furry beasts. On that note, I have a great deal of furniture I wish to dispose of...

[Her feathers ruffle and she shifts her weight a little, suddenly looking rather less certain of herself. She doesn't like it here, and that furniture is really just driving it home for her. Alone again, so soon? After a moment, she adds in a quieter tone:] ...also, should any Equestrians be present, stay where thou art. I shall come to thee.

I suppose it shall have to. Though truthfully, I am surprised that dragons of all beings are the only other species of my home to arrive here, even if they are not exactly the same.

There's a lady dragon from Temeraire's world too, her name is Iskierka.

Good. Dragonesses get remarkably ill-tempered when nesting. [Oh, so much.]

Well. [ blink blink ] You really do learn something new every day.

So you're a princess of the moon, huh?

Indeed! I raise it and the stars every night, and lower them again at dawn. I also guard the dreams of my subjects - oh, I suppose I shall not be doing that here, either. [Shame. She enjoys her dreamwalking.]

Wow, you're doing the job of a couple of spirits where I'm from. I'll bet Sandy would love to meet you!

Oh, you have alicorns as well? Or spirits, I suppose - is he truly incorporeal? And why is he called the Sandman?

No, I don't think we have alicorns but, I don't want to say 100% because... it's a big world, right?

Spirits are intangible to humans, yeah. And he's called that because he controls dream sand, that brings dreams to kids while they sleep. Also, he's sort of... made of the stuff. I think.

...truly? Is he here in this place as well? I should dearly like to meet him and observe this magic at work!

Heh, sorry... he hasn't been here. One winter spirit as a consolation prize?

Ah, do not rank thyself so lightly. Winter hath always been my favored season; I chose its longest night to mark as my festival day. It takes tens of thousands of ponies all across Equestria to do thy job.

That's just because Winter is awesome, that's all. Most underrated season ever, if you ask me.
