( A sleepy Steph starts up the video, yawning a little before she takes her thumb off the camera to reveal herself. She's not messy or sloppy or anything like that, just yawning. Her voice is very matter-of-fact and she nods occasionally as she speaks to confirm how right her point is. )

Y'know I think this place needs to give newbies a warmer welcome. Hotels give you like coffee and maybe a fruit basket? We need that, waiting in our suite for us. Maybe with a cute message card saying something like, "Welcome to our city, and oh, remember you're stuck here! Have a mocha on us!" It's common courtesy to give folks some kind of compensation.

( She pauses. She's forgetting something, isn't she... Oh, right! )

Oh yeah, I'm Stephanie. Or Steph. Probably not Stephie. ( Bad memories associated with that one. ) Aaaand I really want a mocha. That actually sounds really good right now. Nice to meet you and especially nice to meet you if you know about a Turtlebucks close to the Wood Sector.

( Confirm her secret identity in this place as an ordinary and hilarious college student? Check. She honestly is seriously thinking about her situation, but for now she doesn't want that to show through as Stephanie Brown. Gotta be safe and all. )

[He visibly deflates. She should have listened to the whole post instead of just being a speedster and barreling ahead.]

( She rubs her elbow as she talks, avoiding looking at the camera. She knows she shouldn't, but she feels guilty. )

[He shrugs with a small snort.]

It's not your fault. This place sucks like that. [He tries to brighten.]

So I've heard. And experienced actually. Pretty sucky.

( She smiles at him, hoping that will make this less awkward. )

Ah. Well, now I can get to know you all over again. That sounds bad, I know, but that's the weird, fun part of a relationship. Like me right now? I don't know if you suck at ice skating or not. I get to find out! And if you do, I get to laugh probably. So even though I'm sorry I don't know you, the thing is... I don't know you yet, and maybe this time I'll get to know you even more!

( Way to babble on, Steph. Damian's right, I need to work on that. )

[He cracks a smile and actually gives her a weak laugh for that spiel.]

I suck at ice skating. For the record.

Her smile shifts into an angry expression, obviously faked, but nonetheless angry.

Spoiler alert! I'm supposed to find that out by watching you fall! And then the laughing. Now... you've taken that joy away from me.

Oops, my bad. [He gives her a small smile. This is gonna be weird.]

I'm expecting a four page essay on how it is in fact "your bad" and apologizing to me for "your bad." And it's gotta be single-spaced. And come with a mocha. Or I'll never forgive you. ( Grinning playfully, she winks at him. )

I can do one better than a mocha. [He suddenly disappears off screen, in a blur and then reappears just as quick, holding up a bar that looks similar to...]

Chocolate. How about we skip the essay?

Okay, I've learned one thing so far. You're definitely fast. ( Batgirl, world's greatest detective. )
