[Yeah, Finnick has completely lost the will to even do a video post at this point. His voice sounds a bit hollow as he speaks. He doesn't do well with being alone, honestly.]

If you knew her, the girl on fire - Katniss Everdeen - is gone. I doubt she's off on some other part of the turtle.

[He goes quiet for awhile before sighing.] I'll probably take a trip outside of the city, just in case. [Maybe she's there. But if she's not, at least he can mope without people hovering over him.]

Korra, Traci, I'll probably be gone for a few days, so just take your catches to the market or find Jack.

It's not the most creative of nicknames, but what can you do? [He's quiet for a moment.] I guess we're what you could call friends.

Hey, my name's Catty. I definitely don't judge on the naming front, nicknames or not. [She shrugs, before remembering he can't see her.] Losing people is always hard, no matter what you end up calling them.

Catty's a lovely name. I don't see anything wrong with it. [Considering he comes from a world with odd names? Yeah.] That's the nature of life, losing people.

I'm Finnick.

[She switches to video, just so he can see her smile. It's not flirtatious or anything, she's just genuinely pleased] Thanks! [And then she shakes her head] I don't accept that. I mean, I probably should, but I don't.

Nice to meet you, Finnick. Even if the circumstances suck.

[Why not, he'll switch the video on, a slight smirk tugging at his lips. He looks tired, of course, and his bronze hair is a mess, but otherwise fine.] It's an unrealistic view of the world otherwise.

Those circumstances are frequent here. I'm used to it.

[She blinks, once, because wow that is a seriously attractive man. Jesus.] Who needs realism? I'm an artist. Making things up is more fun. [Wow that's almost like lying, Catty]

Well, at least rations are over? I'll bake you some cookies, maybe that'll help.

I didn't realize that lying was an art now, but the way I have seen people treat them, I can't say I'm surprised. [It's just a comment, though. He doesn't care one way or another if she's a liar.]

You'd bake me cookies?

[She scrunches up her nose, making a face at him] No, I mean I'm literally an artist. You know, painting and stuff? I'm pretty good at it, too. [what r modesty]

Sure! I like baking, and I'm good at that too. Even if they don't help you feel better, they'd at least taste good.

You'll have to show me your work sometime, then. I'm a big fan of art. [He makes it sound like it's his favorite thing in the world.]

Sweets have always been pretty rare where I'm from. I'll take any comfort from them that I can.

[She raises an eyebrow at him] What does that even mean? Saying you're a fan of art is like saying you're a fan of food.

[A beat] Are you from hell? Jeez. I'll make you some fudge, too.

[A smile.] It means I enjoy looking at what people like to create. Not everyone is a fan of art, or a fan of food.

Close enough to it.

[She smiles back, because damn son, but her tone is dry] You're right, some people are dead. [Catty has very firm opinions on Art]

[Something like understanding flickers across her face for maybe half a second before she just beams at him again] Okay, well assuming you're not in hell anymore, give me your address and I'll come around later this afternoon. You haven't had fudge until you've had dateless fudge, let me tell you.

A lot of people are dead. [There's a casual shrug.]

Unless this is it, I doubt it. [And then he gives her his suite number that I am too lazy to look up rn. If he's bothered by having a pretty girl come to his place - no, he's never bothered by shit like this.] Dateless fudge?

And it's absolutely terrible that they can't appreciate art. Or food, I guess.

[She wrinkles her nose] Not any hell I'm familiar with, so I guess we're in the clear. [Aaaand a smile] Fudge for the dateless! Which you may or may not be, I have no idea, but I'm dateless, so it still works. You can enjoy it either way, I promise.

That's what happens when you die. A fact of life.

[Considering that Finnick doesn't necessarily do dates, he guesses that... he's dateless???] So, you're really making the fudge for you but sharing it?

Yeah, unless some Emperor decides to drag you from your rightful afterlife to help her save a turtle.

[Catty opens her mouth and then shuts it again] You know what, either way you're getting fudge, so why complain? I'll see you in a bit, okay?
