[Julie took the time to shower and get cleaned up before getting on the network. She was previously covered in days worth of dirt and sweat and blood, some of it her friends and some of it belonging to a peculiar zombie, but more on that later. For now, Julie has a pressing question that may possibly seem rude in some circles.]

So, introductions go first, right? Hi. I'm Julie. I'm from what's supposed to be Seattle, Washington but is now just thousands of people living in a fortified sports stadium.

[As shitty as that probably sounds, she's still smiling about it. There are some good parts about Citi Stadium, but thank God for kidnappings that turn into vacations, even if this is her second one in just a few days.]

This place is between life, death and dreaming, right? I'm not sure how that's possible, but that's fine for now. That's not what I'm wondering.

[She runs her fingers through her hair, chewing her lower lip for a moment before letting her hand settle in her lap again.]

What I'm wondering is possibly considered rude. I don't know. It's been a very weird past few days for me back home that's changed my way of thinking a little bit so now I just want to know how many of you....are dead where you're from?

Where I'm from, dead seems to have a couple different meanings. It could either mean dead and that's it, you're gone for good. Or Undead as in a mobile corpse. A zombie.

[This sure as shit feels a bit awkward, but she's going to just press on. She started it, she'll finish it. That's cool with her.]

I just want to know what dead means here, since I haven't seen any[thing]one that fits what I know from home.

[And that's all. She'll just turn off the feed, now, giving a final smile before she does so.]

But now you're not. That's definitely not how it goes back home.

Yeah usually death is a more permanent thing for most people where I'm from too. Which makes this place pretty damn crazy I guess. But then, nothing is impossible right?

[grigio]

[Give her a minute. She's thinking about R. If anyth-- anyone was proof that nothing was impossible, it was that zombie. So she smiles slightly.]

That's something I've been learning over the past few days.

Yeah I've gotten a refresher course in that myself. So What's this undead thing? Like; humans can come back to life now or something?

[grigio]

Sort of back to life. They're mobile. As for alive? Not so much. They have no pulse. They don't breathe. They don't bleed. They're tough to kill and are only interested in eating the living.

[youjustlivehere]

Ohhh. We had something vaguely like that. [There's a pause and he seems uncomfortable thinking about it] Those guys were stark white, bald, and had one eye. Freaky little man-eating bastards.

[grigio]

[Well, she sure as shit is learning a lot today.]

How did you handle them?

[youjustlivehere]

Well I had bigger things to worry about myself. But I heard the Armstrong General told everyone to cut their jaws off so's they couldn't eat anybody. [he scratches his chin a little] Pretty sure that Flame Colonel incinerated a bunch of 'em too.

[grigio]

...remove their jaws?

[That sounds horrific, even for zombie-creatures.]

Yep. They were designed so that they feel no pain and can't be killed. So if ya don't want to get eaten the only thing you can do is that. [And that's leaving out that they were made with stone created from people.]

[grigio]

That's genuinely horrifying.

[youjustlivehere]

[He thinks about that comment for a second] Yeah. Yeah it really is.

But they're gone, right?

Yeah I'm pretty sure they managed to take care of all of them. I'm not gonna say one hundred percent though since the battle was still going on when I came here.
