[So Billy has been that bored that he's either listened and watched most of the conversations going on, and had moments of horrible home sickness. Boredom doesn't begin to cover how he's feeling. Now that the action has died down, it's just a constant moment of sitting on the edge of your seat, waiting. Waiting sucked.]

So, someone mentioned comic books. Kinda curious about who else here really read them back where they come from and what kind? What were they like? Heroes, blah, blah, blah.

I'm that bored and yeah, curious.

I'm into finding old issues, we have titles that are based on like hero teams from my world as well. Collect Avengers titles. They're uh...a team back home.

Wow, you spent time with them? I haven't really seen them, just the occasional fly by or whatever. I met the Scarlet Witch once! [Twice now since the whole...mother thing.]

Man that's so cool. I met some of the X-Men as well. [Not a fun experience.] But I wouldn't say hung out though. [Except that one time with Magneto and Pietro.]

You know about the Four?

I'm not sure. There was time travel, and then I was out in space, so I don't know what's been going on on Earth, except for the really big things.

[Like Civil War. Which she is disproportionately concerned with for obvious reasons.]

[He shakes his head, not important really.]

Time travel is a killer. [He's okay mentioning it because...she mentioned time travel and space so easily.]

Big things like...when loads of mutants lost their powers?

[Yeah, sorry, Nita can't do better than that for encryption.]

Yeah, and the Superhuman Registration Act. And the destruction of Atlantis.

[Like Atlantis doesn't get destroyed at least once a year. Jeez, Nita.]

[That is something he would actually really like to see her do with Tommy.

There's a moment where the name doesn't really register and then...oh. Oh! Billy swallows and nods. HE DOESN'T BLAME YOU OKAY? THINGS HAPPEN! People were dicks and others weren't. But he smiles and it's genuine.]

[That went better than she'd been expecting. Of course, she's been sitting there stewing over everything she'd missed, with no one to talk to about it, so it's just possible she's being unreasonable over how much responsibility she bears.]

Yeah, anyway. I'd only been in the future--your present, I guess--for two weeks when I ended up here. So I have no idea what's going on back home, except apparently Namor joined the X-Men?

[Billy rakes through his memory and hums as he does so. He'd been zoned out for the best part of three to four months.]

Yeah, he's been with them for a while now. Well...a few months or something? Kinda sketchy on things that happened. X-Men have somewhere called Utopia as well, so that's kind of their little haven?

Magneto's a good guy again.

Plus Emma Frost and Doctor Nemesis! Everything got weird.

[Because they weren't weird before, clearly.]

Oh yeah, can't forget those. Hmm...who else.

Oh well, Scarlet Witch is kind of, sort of back? She's not active, but she's around.

[Nita only really caught up on events related to herself and a handful of people she's close to. Thus the fact that Wanda disappeared after M-Day didn't make it into her consciousness.]

What, was she dead or something?

Hm? No, she lost her memory and was found by Doom and obviously he didn't tell her who she was so he took her in. Totally untraceable.

[Oops, accidentally left something open there...In a...round about way.]

Uh. Then how do you know about it? Dr. Doom isn't the kind of guy who makes his plans public.

[Yes, Nita even calls horrible supervillain assholes politely by their titles. The fact that Namor is the closest thing Doom has to a friend might have something to do with it.]

[Busted. Billy can't think of a way out of it so he slumps slightly and offers a slight grin.]

I was...there. Not when he found her, like literally before the wedding and kinda...went to the castle without an invite during the night and...yeah. Not my smartest move.

Wedding? What were you doing in Latveria? That's just not a good place to be, period.

[She is so confused.]

I uh...No it's not. It's a really complicated story, but we found a Doombot that was disguised as her, and then I sort of...sneakily cast a spell to get me there to check out the land and well...got caught.
