[When the video feed starts, there's nothing but the side of a black chair, the man sitting in it was looking away from the monitor in thought. The background was obviously a suite in the Fire Sector, if the elegant design and the lit yellow and red hanging lanterns were anything to go by. As the man looked out the window behind him, he finally spoke.]

If any foreigners have new information regarding those that reside in the palace, I urge you to contact me as soon as possible. It’s become quite apparent that the Emperor is rather selective with whom she shares information with.

[That deep, penetrating voice was one of idle interest, which may have been because he seemed distracted. Finally, the chair turned from whatever had his attention. The man was sitting straight and he gave a guileful look down to the camera, straight at the viewers.]

It has also come to my attention that I am not the only one from my "world" as it were. Some of you may have seen others wearing similar clothing to mine. [Blue eyes with green flecks glanced downward at the Starfleet symbol on his black, long-sleeve shirt.] I’ll spare you the details of my "home". You may call me: Khan. [There was a dark purr of satisfaction on the last word. Having free reign to use his actual name for the first time in over year was incredibly satisfying.]

Many have called for unity amongst us "foreigners" and I am ready to do what must be done so we not only get the answers we want, but also to eliminate this menace we were summoned to fight. My combat and strategic knowledge are available for any effective measures against this essence known as Malicant.

[If he’s fully aware of what saying that name means, the only give away would be his eyes becoming lidded as he raised his eyebrows upon uttering the name.]

There is also the abundance of foreigners with powers and abilities above and beyond the limits of baseline individuals. If a list has been made of these beings and their known capabilities, I request a copy if possible.

[A beat filled with an almost imperceptible squint.]

[Raleigh is looking reasonably better then the last time he was on the network. That's thanks to Stark, Mako, and Bianca Reyes but he wants answers too. He likes the cut of your jib sir. Just get into it. although to be fair, you don't look like a Khan.

Maybe that's just him though. Still.]

When you say powers what do you mean exactly?

[Rare were the ones that asked relevant questions to Khan. He had grown bored with the usual outcry of indignation; semantics. The response he gave was practically automated, as if read a thousand times over.]

Abilities such as flight, to move at speeds few here could even see, manipulation of fundamental elements, creation of hard light constructs limited only by imagination, the strength to sunder mountains, making the unthinkable possible are just a few examples.

[There were still network videos he was watching, still information he was gathering, but that was the gist of it.]

That is what I mean. Foreigners that are living here on this turtle with us are capable of doing extraordinary things. I don’t suppose you fall into one of those categories?

You are one of the few that see the important of one. May I assume that you are familiar with warfare and the strategic positioning involved? If so, then knowing what others are capable of allows their proper placing and using their powers as effectively as possible.

[A pause while he took a visual assessment of Raleigh.]

As you have likely seen, others do not see that advantage and I recommend not voicing the opinion unless you don't mind riled teenagers throwing around their self-righteous indignation.

You always have a choice about if you want to participate. Everyone should actively support it, but participation is a choice.

Wars have been fought over lists like that, so it's pretty obvious you're going to strike out on that one. Did you really expect to come on this network and ask if all the people with some other kind of abilities could just raise their hands so the creepy guy who's missing a cat could keep tabs on everyone? I mean, really?

[’Conqueror’ made one of his eyebrows twitch ever so slightly, but his face remained expressionless, calm at the boy’s questioning.]

But this is all just a game, is it not Mr. Kaplan? Playing such games seems to require knowledge of each member’s functions and capabilities in order to succeed. Don’t they, Black Mage?

[Dryly and drawled out, Khan spoke clearly while never taking his unblinking gaze off of the speakers. He was amazed at how many people only used the audio function, yet still used their suites to respond making it simple to find out who was on the other end.]

[Hey, it was a valid question. An older guy who acted like this? He's almost tempted to ask if he's also a doctor.]

Yeah, I'd be a Black Mage. [He's been on the network, and talked about all of this, so it's not like he's hiding anything. He just finds that when this guy talks, his face makes it all the more creepier.]

But in game terms, it doesn't just matter what your ally can do in a fight. You need to know them, and where their loyalties lie. It doesn't matter if they're the best Warrior out there, you have to make sure they don't stab you in the back before you can get your Potion out.

[He pauses.] The game is over when the Protagonist dies. Always.

[ Khan had many rebuttals and points he could have made at Billy’s explanation of how games are fully experienced.

However, there’s a ridiculously long pause. The only sound is that of Khan’s fingers gently, slowly tapping his desk in rhythm.

Finally they stop and his words are calm; collected.]

I'm a homunculus

I regenerate from even normally fatal injuries.

No I can't do that indefinitely.

I have an impenetrable shield made of hardened carbon that I can cover my body with.

[By definition, a homunculus was a diminutive human; which Khan saw no connection by Greed's appearance. But the abilities he listed off were impressive to say the least.]

Why is your regeneration limited, Mr. Greed?

A synthetic human? [He asked with a raised eyebrow.] Augmented, or a pure construct?

[The note on using up one's "life force" is something for him to chew over.]

Of course. [The answer to his semi-rhetorical question was in a dark, humored tone.]

[Greed considered for a second] First one. Then the other. [He didn't mean for the comment to be so vague, but that was the simplest way to say that.]

[Leaning back from up straight up sitting position, Khan canted his head so he could peer at Greed from beneath his brow. Patiently waiting for him to explain further on the unhelpful answer.]

[Oh god he wanted to know the details. Well this was annoying. Rubbing his thumb against his jaw line for a bit, finally the man cracked his neck.]

Okay so. I was made whole-cloth right? Then I got...killed I guess you could say. And THEN I was brought back in a human vessel. [Then of course he'd died again, but that was better saved for later]

Augmented after you’re being killed then? [That small, yet broad explanation was still incredibly vague.] Or were you just made that way naturally?

[If he could, Khan would have just turned him upside down and shook the information out of him.]
