This trip has been interesting so far, though a little sad when you remember that the others on Sinbrilee are actually ghosts. I've got to say though, for ghosts they hold a pretty good party, not what I expected. [Though neither was finding a turtle egg.]

Is this kind of thing often? Going other places I mean...and finding items from back home. Does anyone know how these items even get here?

Very creepy and a little too convenient, I don't think if we ask we'll get any where though...Or if anyone has already asked.

Makes you wonder what their culture was like that they're so at ease. Or I do at least. Was it something they just accepted as part of a cycle or did they learn to accept it with time. [He never really asked about it to be honest.]

[Or through a grapevine where a Bat could've heard it, maybe. Kyle likes that he has friends in the shadows.]

[Kyle is lucky in that sense. Right now, the only people he really has much contact with would be his students from back home that are here. It doesn't seem like many people from his team in his world are here. Younger versions from other worlds, yes.]

Well either way, it's kind of nice to get them for those that do.

I got my bible from home and rosary beads. They were both gifts from people close to me, so to have them here it kind of like having a comfort I guess.

[He leans forward, elbows scraping the desk, with renewed interest.]

You're Catholic too?

I am. [He used to be a priest and the 'too' makes him happy.]

It's funny when you find others where you don't really expect to.

Man, it's been years since I went to church. They don't exactly have those in space, I pity whoever has to listen to me during confession.

[Oh that makes him laugh.]

I tried as often as I could, but there isn't exactly any way of saying 'Oh hey Magneto, can you maybe not attack today? It's Sunday, thanks.' And confessions are, well yeah since something happens what feels like every week. I don't even have to imagine. I'm sure you'd have to do several trips or book it out for the day.

That never goes according to schedule. At least nobody's ever tried to target me at a church.

[A pause, before he switches over to a 100% encryption.]

If you kill someone while mind-controlled, does it... count?

[The guilt, obviously, will never leave, but it's a valid question and it's been weighing on him.]

Maybe there's some respectful villains out there?

[He replies with the encryption, but he's quiet for a moment. He isn't sure. It wouldn't really be...fair if you have no control over yourself. And then there's a little bit of dread bubbling away in his stomach.]

I honestly don't know. I wish I did and I really hope it doesn't. [He has a feeling that in his own sake, killing by accident, that it will.]

[Flash's Rogues are the ones he's seen, Kyle's opponents tend to be merciless.]

I don't know either. At least the Church is used to that kind of thing happening on our worlds, huh?

[Kurt's seen a few of his own and there's some that just don't care either.]

You'd think so, wouldn't you? I suppose some of the things aren't so strange to them.

Well, I did serve beside an actual angel of the Lord - it was public knowledge. Long story, but kind of hard to ignore.

And mind-control isn't exactly obscure, you know?

Really? [He sounds really curious and interested here.] That's a pretty big thing.

Well no, I mean there are all kinds of people capable of it with powers or chemicals.

Really. [He sounds delighted.] And everyone knows about the embodiment of God's Wrath - it's called the Spectre. Nice guy apart from the tendency to smite first ask questions later.

You don't have beings of that kind? Where people can perceive them?

We have...all sorts back home. Basically what people would call angels and demons if they were seen, actual angels and demons. Celestials which are basically cosmic beings from space. Worse things than Celestials.

[There's a sigh.]

We have a lot.

You can see why we often had to grab coffee.
