[Hellboy has a bad feeling about this. He’s been prowling around the barrier since the moment the Turtle hit bottom, and he hasn’t stopped since. The corpses in the water were unnerving, and when they started to stir in their watery graves, he learns he has every right to be worried.
Technology really isn’t his favorite thing. That’s why Hellboy tries his best to avoid using the network as much as he can. But seeing those horrible things pressing themselves against the barrier like a pack of hungry, undead kids in a candy store means it’s time to suck it up and try his hand at a PSA. If things really do end up going to crap, maybe it’ll count for something.
So early in the unwavering dark of an undersea afternoon, he stations himself in one of the console cafés somewhere near the edge of the city, doing his best to prepare for the worst.]
Hope this thing’s as zombie-proof as it is waterproof.
[Yeah… right. As if it’s ever that simple.]
Just in case anyone didn’t notice, we have a few visitors outside trying to drop by uninvited.
I’ve heard people have been able to travel in and out of the barrier pretty easily. That means there’s a good chance those things might find their way through.
My advice… don’t panic. Stay home, stay away from the barrier.
If anyone has enough firepower to blow up or burn a zombie, let me know. I know we’ve got some talented people out there. Would probably be a good idea to have people out and ready just in case.
[So this is Hellboy trying to be proactive without stirring up too much of a panic. It’s not his usual style, but he does the best he can. There’s really no way of preparing for something like this. But if things really do start going south, prepared or not, it’s gonna get ugly. So he’ll be out there, and he’ll be waiting.]
