[filtering? He knows, theoretically how to do that. But it'll take a few times of the wrong person seeing the post before it clicks that that's really a thing you should do.

Hey, I'm looking for someone named Jack.

[Also. How common could that name be? It was weird as hell.]

Well, now you know about it. So if that's what the argument was about, no need to be riled... I promise not to solicit kisses from her again. It's a little unfair to use spirit status against an Avatar anyway for something like that, right?

Hey.

[ Before Mako can get more than a few steps, Jack speaks again with much less levity in his tone and it's obvious he's not talking about his "mistake" here, despite claiming it was at the beginning of their conversion. ]

Someone once told me that we find it easy to try and define other people by their mistakes, because we do it to ourselves all the time. But that it's important to give people another chance because they might not think they deserve it... and then how will they feel like they can do the same for someone else when it's needed?

[ a pause ]

Just, keep it in mind.

[ Jack tilted his head at the remark but chose not to reply. A swirl of wind that lifted him from the ground, and carried him away. ]
