[ Before Mako can get more than a few steps, Jack speaks again with much less levity in his tone and it's obvious he's not talking about his "mistake" here, despite claiming it was at the beginning of their conversion. ]
Someone once told me that we find it easy to try and define other people by their mistakes, because we do it to ourselves all the time. But that it's important to give people another chance because they might not think they deserve it... and then how will they feel like they can do the same for someone else when it's needed?
