[Vanessa's half turned away from the console when she turns the video on. Multitasking is a lifesaver, honestly. Her fingers are moving over the keyboard sitting next to her, playing a soft melody that's almost like a lullaby. She is a good egg mommy, okay. Turtle-baby needs pretty music.] I don't how it's possible that our items end up in this universe, but I have to say, this is way cheaper than saving my pennies for a piano or something. I can write all the music I want, but it's not the same as listening to it.

[Her fingers keep moving even as she glances up at the screen with a small grin.] Which means that I put the extra bit of juulan I had set aside to a good cause. For those of you who were interested - and anyone new! - I put down a payment for a building in Water to use for the outreach program. We can meet there. [Because the kedan in Water are still hero worshipping her, and she got a place really cheap. It's not the best, but hey. She can't argue with cheap.]

If you don't know what I'm talking about, a couple of months ago, we stumbled on this totally gross drug called Dust. And we want to help the people who are addicted, if you think that might be something you're interested in. You know, helping people, saving Asti, stopping Mally. Heroic things. [She goes quiet for a second, biting her lip.] We can meet and talk about where to start soon.

It has a nice ring to it. [He's bad at naming things so turtle baby is cute enough, it works for Frank. Plus the rest of what she's saying sounds more important.]

A drug. Are scientist investigating it or something? Do we know how it works?

Until I learn his real name, yeah it does.

[She shakes her head.] You'd have to get a sample of it to investigate. The only thing I know is that it causes a sort of euphoric bliss that allows people to become more... malleable.

[He nods, somehow Piper's charmskeap coming to mind. Her voice also made people 'malleable'... and gave her things like cars and helicopters. He can see how that would be a problem at a bigger scale.]

I want to help, if you think I can?

Definitely! [She smiles.] We're not trained to do anything medical, but talking and being there for other people, that's definitely something we can do.

I can also- I don't know, grab and transport affected people to the nearest clinic if needed?

[He shrugs] I'll need to rest every now and then of course, but it'll still beat walking? I think anyway.

Hey, that's a good idea! Especially if people are really sick. We should actually try to get some doctors in on this with us. So that it's not just a bunch of kids hoping to do a good job at changing the world.

I don't actually know that many adults... I guess I'm too used to camp. The only adults there lived in the city.

I know a few, here. [Because you talk to everyone, Vanessa.] I don't know any doctors though.

I've talked to someone who used to be a doctor! I don't know if she'd know anything about chemistry or drugs since I think she said she'd been a surgeon but it'd be something?

Doctors usually have to go to school and learn a bunch about that sort of thing, even if they specialize in other areas. It's definitely something.

I'll ask her then, she seemed kinda bored so she might even like helping us out.
