[As the video cuts on Makoto can be seen in all of her Sailor Jupiter glory, she's leaning forward with her hands planted on the surface that the console is sitting on. To all intents, constructions, and purposes a girl in a green fuku should be adorable, but the expression on her face is filled with pure fury.

In spite of that smile she's presently wearing.

And sparks of electricity are rolling off of her skin.]

This one goes out to our resident thieves...you took something from me, a wristwatch communicator, and I want it back.

[The sharpness in her features softens a little bit, but it's not enough to resemble the typical kindly and openhearted Makoto. She's really cheesed off.]

In the interest of fairness I'll give you a chance to return it exactly where you found it, but if I have to hunt you down it's gonna be a bad day.

[The get-up pans like something out of Cyclop's fashion sense, only circa the nineties; Ororo ignores it because she's got her eye on something else.

The girl seem's powered with it and that -- well, it's a bitter reminder of an absentee Brandon, but it's also something akin to her own book of spells (as it were).]

[Fortunately Makoto isn't so irrational that she'll rage at everyone just because she's angry, so by the time Ororo begins talking to her she's already adjusted her attitude to the situation.]

It's an ability I have access to after my transformation, but it's unique to me...and natural...I suppose.

Transformation? [That's... weird.] What the heck's that talk about?

Well, I guess it's probably easier to see than to explain. I'm one of five sailor warriors...that I know of...in my world and each warrior has a transformation wand. The wands are unique to us, they grant us access to certain celestial bodies and the elements that go along with it. I'm Jupiter, lightening and physical strength are what I'm associated with...the wand acts as...I guess an augmentation device?

[Roll her back a few years and Ororo'd be looking at her like she had knocked herself on the head with that so-called wand of hers a few dozen times. The old her would call this crazy and bail on the conversation.

That was all before the X-Men. Before the days when being called 'Storm' became second nature to her and before the days that dressing up in costumes to forward a cause ever occurred to be a natural thing to her.

Take all that into account and Ororo's just giving her an odd look -- rather than high-tailing it out of there.]

The communicator? It looks like a...flip watch...I guess. The wrist band is yellow, the face of the communicator is green with a gold star and moon on it and some gold trimming.

You might want to keep an eye out at pawn shops and the like. It's too uncommon-looking for them to be able to wear around without attracting undue attention, and from what you described it sounds like it'd net something decent when sold off.
