Hello again. I have an urgent request for whoever can help me. I was not particularly forward with the information that I am an android, in part because of my concern at being treated as less than an average individual. However, I have come to regret that as I have a service of maintenance that I require within the next two days, and I did not think to prepare for this preemptively.

My system requires replenishing of a hydraulic fluid that works most similarly with how the human system needs blood. I have to do this every two weeks to remain fully functional. I am not certain if anyone can take a sample and replicate it, but this is my request.

Otherwise, while my power can never run out and I can never die, I will lose mobility and possibly malfunction in other ways.

If anyone is capable of assisting, I would be indebted to you and am willing to provide my services in whatever fashion you may require. I hope for the best. [David gives a troubled smile before ending the video.]

I am not certain. I do not know the exact makeup of the fluid my system requires but it is a mixture of water, certain oils, and specific mineral components my system needs, same as with human blood requiring iron. The question is if the minerals, the most important part, are available in the natural resources here or if there is an equivalent to them.

[WAY over her head. Ororo's only experience with fluids and, erm, hydraulics would be flushing the plumbing, as it were.]

Wait. If you're an android, how come you don't know what all you're made up of? Wouldn't that be, like, programmed into you or something?

I know certain parts, but my kind are only made to be aware of at what level we need to rehydrate ourselves. Other forms of maintenance are out of our hands, perhaps as a method to prevent us from becoming entirely self-sufficient.

Figured that a built-in manual'd be out of the question too.

I'm no engineer or mechanic or whatever, but I'll ask around for ya.
