[Hello, Turtle. Here is an Enjolras who looks a bit embarrassed that he's even started this late night/very early morning post, but well. The question he wants to ask IS actually a valid one, now that he has TIME to ask it, and he finds the current most popular phrases to be incredibly awkward or childish so..The hell with it. People have asked all sorts of questions here, haven't they? He's clearing his throat, flushing a little, then glancing into the vid directly and clearing his throat.]

A question, everyone.

I find that most of the current terms for one's...romantic friend...but more than such are either juvenile or not quite accurate. 'Boyfriend' for example, makes us sound as if we were children, 'Partner' has several connotations that do not immediately state the obvious and 'Lover' sounds particularly awkward.

[And well, they have not quite gotten to the lovers stage yet. Enjolras is hardly ready for it and still accustoming himself to the kissing and cuddling things that he never let himself seek out in life.]

When others here speak of the other piece of their soul as he is to me...what terms seem to work best for you?

Well. Perhaps it would be better if we -- slept together? Not in a -- as Courfeyrac and Pontmercy do, for now, I think.

[And Enjolras is sort of following his glance and, that's not exactly a cringe, but it IS a little bit of a shrug that admits that, fine. He is not exactly sleeping as things stand. As far as what Combeferre suggests though? Well, he's nodding a bit, a small smile on his face.]

Perhaps so, if you would not be overly disturbed. I do relax with you, certainly.

Of course I would not be, we do it often enough. [There's a small smile in return, and a bit of a kiss.] I wish to help you, that is all.

[And Enjolras is returning that kiss quite happily enough.]

I merely, well. If you had become more comfortable there or something. Which does sound ridiculous considering you might be there and back within a moment or two.

It is no bother at all, save for my equipment and such. That may stay there, I suppose.

[Enjolras is eyedarting a bit here because this is slightly insane.]

...When I was slightly less rational after arriving here, Iskierka and I attempted to knock out some of her walls. We may be able to simply do that in an actual safe and constructive way.

[He's just raising his eyebrows.] Please do not encourage her.

I was hardly suggesting we invite her to come knock out our walls, now. Dear GOD.

[Enjolras shudders at the thought.]

But I think perhaps there may be other ways to simply accomplish that. As far as encouraging other ventures... I am not at liberty to disclose anything that has happened so far.

[What happens with the dragonbro, (as opposed to the dragon ami) stays with the dragonbro, honey. Sorry.]

[He just raises an eyebrow.] Very well, but do at least make an attempt to be careful, please? I know quite well we may trust Temeraire, but the demoiselle is ...ah, somewhat reckless, I think.

Well, of course.

[And that is just a hint of a grin at the eyebrow. Enjolras knows it too well by now not to grin at it most times. Most of them.]

She IS a bit, I suppose. But I am able to be careful. Truly.

[Are you really, Enjolras? Cause that's doubtful.]

[The other eyebrow goes up, but it's quite clear he's teasing, giving him a small grin.]

As you say, I am sure.

[A grin which Enjolras is returning because really, it was only that one time that he was not careful. ...And the other time but that was so not his fault, but Bahorel's. So there.]

Well, yes, of course.

In any case, we do not need to think about this sort of thing immediately, it is not as though I do not come by most of the time any how.

[He's going to pull Enjolras close for a bit of a kiss, now, though.]

Mm quite true at that. It is not as though you could not be there and back within a moment is it?

[That's perfectly fine with Enjolras, who is leaning into that kiss comfortably.]
